Sorry for nooby question - what are the pros/cons for this ROM, compared to b528
This is a question for the Rebrand Thread, but I will answer here:Just one simple question, once rebrand to the chinese version of EVA-P19, and i flashed any of the OpenKirin ROM; do i lose the dual sim functionality? Because I use Dual sim as my daily driver.
You can check our telegram group for further help. How can we root the phone after installing RROS beta 2 ?
I can confirm it works on the rebranded L09, I switched to OmniRom due to its NFC compatibility. Have you tried choosing Shut down on the erecovery screen and then booting the phone? I also get the "corrupted" message when I boot to erecovery, simply ignore that. For me LOS beta 4 made my data corrupted and threw me in the erecovery. RROS beta 1 was awful and willing to try again only if fast charge is working. Omni wasn't that bad but still the Sim bug took my nerves out. Hope someone can confirm LOS is working for the rebranded L09.
It also did that to me, and everything is fine so farI wasnt able to factory reset from eval19 rebranded to al10 oreo trough emui like its written in the las step of the open kirin page. It shows this sign! but the rom booted up normally . is that normal???
@OldDroid if we flash this rom can we revert back to emui 8?
OpenKirin flashes only System - why couldn't be possible to revert just by flashing back b528 System (in Fastboot), followed by Full wipe in eRecoveryYes, you can go back using HuRUpdater...
I tried it once by extracting the system.img before installing RROS and then flashing it again on my EVA-AL10 but it didn't work and had to redownload the whole firmware in eRecovery (could also be that i had to format data).OpenKirin flashes only System - why couldn't be possible to revert just by flashing back b528 System (in Fastboot), followed by Full wipe in eRecovery
Where do you reformat Data?I tried it once by extracting the system.img before installing RROS and then flashing it again on my EVA-AL10 but it didn't work and had to redownload the whole firmware in eRecovery (could also be that i had to format data).
At least for me if i install for example RROS and go into eRecovery it says data partition is corrupt and needs to be formatted (or something along those lines) and you can format data. And if i remember correctly the same thing was when i tried flashing my extracted system.img. I just clicked format data and redownloaded the whole firmware trough eRecovery because i thought it didn't work. (Sorry if I'm vague or get something wrong but i did it a month ago)Where do you reformat Data?
Wiping Internal memory from eRecovery won't be enough?
You can rebrand your Lx9c432 to Chinese Oreo AL10C100B528Great work! I have a question. Theese roms are only for the asian variant right? I have a P9 but it is european variant and the last version of my emui is 5.0.3![]()
I have the same problem in deep sleep, but now while in use.. Maybe next build will fix thatI've been using OpenKirin RROS Beta 2 for over a week now as my daily driver on the P9 and I've got to say it's brilliant!
The only thing that bothers me a little is battery behaviour in deep sleep. I've seen it lose 20-30% overnight with data off. There's no problem with the battery, as it has been replaced recently.
Could you solve this situation? I'm the sameTried the fix. Now I have at least two IMEIs but now I have no service on both SIM cards. Do you guys need any logs (and if so can you explain how to get them)?
Frankly - you can hardly expect an answer here from the OpenKirin guys - they provide on-line support over Telegram group (find the invitation in the post #1)Could you solve this situation? I'm the same
