Hi! First of all a big thank you to all of the OpenKirin developers. You've done a great job making possible what I never thought would come to be.
I'm happily using OmniRom on Huawei P9 EVA-AL10, rebranded from L09. However, I have encountered two issues:
1. I cannot disable SIM 2 which appears on status bar even though I only have one SIM slot. I've checked local.prop for any settings that might be responsible for this, but to no effect.
2. A few minutes after I turn on the phone, Bluetooth stops working. I am able to turn it on again after reboot but the problem comes back after a couple of minutes. EDIT: this issue was likely caused by one of Magisk modules I've installed. All good now.
If anyone has encountered similar issues and/or has manager to solve them, please share your experience.

This is a question for the Rebrand Thread, but I will answer here:
If your phone is original EVA-L19 and you rebrand to EVA-AL10 Oreo, you don't loose the Dual SIM functionality.
And you can flash any for P9 supported Open Kirin Rom.

For me LOS beta 4 made my data corrupted and threw me in the erecovery. RROS beta 1 was awful and willing to try again only if fast charge is working. Omni wasn't that bad but still the Sim bug took my nerves out. Hope someone can confirm LOS is working for the rebranded L09.
I can confirm it works on the rebranded L09, I switched to OmniRom due to its NFC compatibility. Have you tried choosing Shut down on the erecovery screen and then booting the phone? I also get the "corrupted" message when I boot to erecovery, simply ignore that.
Also, what do you mean by "the SIM bug" in OmniRom?

And this is a personal thought... I think Stock Gallery from Emui is the one in charge of creating the slow motion videos and editing the portrait mode after taken. Wouldn't be better to include the stock gallery in custom roms?

I wasnt able to factory reset from eval19 rebranded to al10 oreo trough emui like its written in the las step of the open kirin page. It shows this sign! but the rom booted up normally . is that normal???
It also did that to me, and everything is fine so far
OpenKirin flashes only System - why couldn't be possible to revert just by flashing back b528 System (in Fastboot), followed by Full wipe in eRecovery
I tried it once by extracting the system.img before installing RROS and then flashing it again on my EVA-AL10 but it didn't work and had to redownload the whole firmware in eRecovery (could also be that i had to format data).
Where do you reformat Data?
Wiping Internal memory from eRecovery won't be enough?
At least for me if i install for example RROS and go into eRecovery it says data partition is corrupt and needs to be formatted (or something along those lines) and you can format data. And if i remember correctly the same thing was when i tried flashing my extracted system.img. I just clicked format data and redownloaded the whole firmware trough eRecovery because i thought it didn't work. (Sorry if I'm vague or get something wrong but i did it a month ago)
Great work! I have a question. Theese roms are only for the asian variant right? I have a P9 but it is european variant and the last version of my emui is 5.0.3

I've been using OpenKirin RROS Beta 2 for over a week now as my daily driver on the P9 and I've got to say it's brilliant!
The only thing that bothers me a little is battery behaviour in deep sleep. I've seen it lose 20-30% overnight with data off. There's no problem with the battery, as it has been replaced recently.

I have the same problem in deep sleep, but now while in use.. Maybe next build will fix that
Frankly - you can hardly expect an answer here from the OpenKirin guys - they provide on-line support over Telegram group (find the invitation in the post #1)
