In the uninstall tool "system" tab in king user, can I safety remove any app? Or will it brick my device? Since it gives me a warning about "uninstalling the system software may cause the system crash, are you sure to uninstall?".

Yes you can remove bloatware... however this Tablet doesn't really have much Bloatware.

Yes.. I am familiar with the app removal features of the King root user interface. It works like the application manager in you android settings menu. However... if you are not sure what you are doing.. then don't proceed any further! That is why the warning comes up.

Also HP bloatware

I would just leave it.... you are not going to gain much in the way of speed or storage space. What HP bloatware are you referring to?

OOBE = Out Of Box Experience

Delete it and you will most likely receive an error message pop-up that won't go away.

So this is my last warning...

DO NOT DELETE SYSTEM APPS IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE!
Yeah its not necessary to remove lol. This tablet had minimum bloatware. I removed most non system "bloat". I'm surprised at the speed of this tablet. For one gig of ram its speedy.

Rooting the HP Slate 7 Extreme 4400us

Hi all,
I recently bought my HP 7 Slate 4400US Extreme tablet at Amazon.
I was able to root it with Kingo Root APK. No computer was needed. It did take two attempts but rooted on the second attempt.
The Kingo Root APK download installs Kingo SuperUser that grants apps requesting Root access, access.
I tried Installing SuperSU by Chainfire and uninstalling the Kingo SuperUser. When I uninstalled Kingo SuperUser I lost my root status.
So I re-rooted using the Kingo Root APK. I have blocked the Kingo SuperUser from communicating without a password. I have not noticed any malicious activity. Everything seems to be working fine. It has been on the tablet for two (2) weeks now.
Hope this helps for those intending to Root their HP 7 Slate 4400US Extreme tablets.
