p.s. of course there is a way to relock the bootloader...

Thanks to Ambroos, this pre-rooted system is now available (for unlocked bootloaders only).

To flash this system image, you must have flashed the NL ftf firmware, and data wiped:
[FIRMWARE][6.0.A.3.67][LT26] Xperia S (2.3.7){Cust: 1252-1993 NL Generic (cleanest)}

 fastboot flash system system.img

This will give you root for the device.

Strongly suggest to check updated SU and busybox after flash.

Please make it clear in the first post that an unlocked bootloader is needed to do this, and this will probably void your warranty. Just to be sure.

It's up to you; if you want customization of the firmware from your own country, you should keep it as your own customization ID (XXXX-XXXX number) thus updating to those specific firmware groups.

can you try another version of the flashable system.img? (i.e. LB/UK/SG)
