I've heard that this breaks snapchat front camera for recording videos, can anyone confirm this?

Yes it does, however another user in here fixed this issue and gave out the file he used. All you have to do is flash it and you'll be good!
Just reading through this thread again and came upon this... Any news on upping the UHD time limit?
I'm having a problem with the camera crashing. Whenever I have the back facing camera open and I try to hit mode (to switch to panorama) the camera force closes. Anybody else have this problem/is there a fix?
not here, which mod did you flash and have you flashed back the stock one to make sure its not something else?
I flashed the 64Mbit UHD mod and @Rydah805's fix for recording using the front camera in third party apps. I never thought about reverting to stock though, I'll try that
I'm running the 64Mbit mod as well and not seeing any issues. I didn't flash that fix though because I don't use any third party apps with the front camera.
@Pfeffernuss can you please give us an alternate hoster, cause mega always wants me to create an account. I could also host them on my online storage, if you prefer that.

I have one question that has been bugging me and I only remember it when I get into those situations.
When I'm out and I need to take a quick photo I don't have time to play with a manual camera. Especially if I'm going to be taking multiple photos between some time and the light changes. It's nearly impossible to adjust. Plus, on concerts. it's sometimes impossible to get anything except a quick shot.
Is there a possibility to include RAW+JPEG in AUTO MODE somhow?
It would br super for those quick shots that you would still want the possibility to get more from them in post.

Sorry for taking almost a month to reply. I have been rooting and installing custom ROMs on my phones for years. For some reason I am struggling with terminology and finding information for this phone. I hope I am not bugging you if I might ask a few questions?
I am not sure what v10D/C is reffering to. Would this be the latest camera app build? Or would it be my actual phone build? If it is the phone, might there be a specific way to update the phone and keep/or restore root access? I did not want to attempt any OTA updates without making sure I know the correct process for keeping root.
I own the LGLS991 Sprint variant. The only (relevant) information I can find is:

Here's an updated version with working front facing camera recording in 3rd party apps. It's based on the T-Mobile 10N Rom. It should work on any newer base. It should be flashable but I created the script and zip while in the car and on my phone. Lol either way the files inside are good to go.
