Wtf. Mine was opposite, it happens only when i am recording with 60 fps

Uhm.
My installation procedure is the following:
Stock phone
Booted to TWRP (can't flash it)
Installed this Kernel ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/development/repack-kernel-root-android-6-0-t3232387 )
Installed SuperSU (the one in the link above).
Then simply re-booted TWRP and flashed this mod.
Nothing else.

I can confirm no problem working on MM 
And videos is great too no vigneting on 30fps and 60fps

That's what I thought too. If you guys are not having a vignette effect on 6.0 therefore it only occurs on lollipop.. Maybe some more samples from MM users if they experience vignette effect too. Otherwise, case closed. Time to upgrade to Mm.

Any possibility to get this compatible with cm13? I have stock 20b at the moment but planning to switch to cyanogenmod. The only thing keeping me on stock base is the great camera
Once the framework and the app is ported + LG gives us their drivers. So more likely it'll never happen.
Nobody wants to disable audio zoom?? It's annoying to zoom and decrease audio quality
But that's weird because I'm on 6.0 and I'm having that as you saw. I noticed it may happen only in 'low light' condition thought.
So, I flashed the 'stock' camera that is on the OP post (which looks like the camera app from 5.0), but vignette effect is still there on all mode.
Any tip to just get back the original 6.0 camera app? I will try with LG Bridge (There is an option called 'Recover Update Error', which looks like it just re-install the latest update) :fingerscrossed:

even on a good light it still happens.. I don't know but I compared it on an iphone 6, both phones are tested (1080p 60fps) in low light conditions and the iphone 6 doesn't have a vignette effect.

Is there a way to disable noise reduction in videos and increase the bitrate even more? There's an app called Cinema 4K that supports 200mbps and no noise reduction however it has exposure lock issues.
Guys, anyone (like me) still having the same issue not beeing able to record with front facing camera on 3rd party apps? Is there any fix for this? I flashed the .zip files with flashfire and also copy&past the 2 files on the "etc" folder but did not solve my problem. I hava 818p 10c
I copied the files across (48Mbit), and change the JPEG from 100 to 99.
Can someone confirm on 13B update for Verizon (which adds Slo-Mo) -or any G4 variant Camera with Slo-Mo - if flashing one of these 60fps mods will remove Slo-Mo?Was amazed the G4 wouldn't record video's at 60fps so decided to alter some files to make it work.
After flashing the mod using TWRP you will have another FullHD resolution mode but this time at 60fps, see screenie:
When selecting this mode the framerate will jump from 30 to 60 (in sufficient light):
I also increased the bitrate and the photo quality is upped to 100% percent as well. Note: both will increase the file sizes by a large amount! Decreased the threshold where you can still take flash shots from 15% to 5% battery.
There's also a version with a much higher bitrate (from 30Mb/sec to 64Mb/sec) when using the UHD camera. Do note, this increases the filesize when making movies by a *large* amount
When not satisfied with the mod simply flash the stock settings file and all will be reverted :good:

I can't root due to security settings the email app for my work email has (mobile iron), but would like to find a way to do 60fps. Any 3rd party camera apps that do this? Does xcam work for G4?
I found a couple that can do 4k at over 5 mins which was my other issue, now if I can just do 1080p 60fps i'll be all set.
