Hi guys. Just wanted to let you know what this mode is not working the way it is set to work, meaning photo quality is NOT at 100% and LG still snaps 97% compression rating in full sunlight, nature pics saturated with data, landscape. I suspect but not tested yet that low light pics will be 70% compression ratting meaning this mod is just not working. I will verify this. I have LP 5.1, rooted, busybox all working fine, flashed mod, rebooted. Same results. Here is data. Sucks balls. LG is blocking this mod somewhere else not in xml file. Basically 97% is first LG default value camera is using so it's not using modded value but still using default 97,xx,70 default values, meaning mod did not take effect.

Verified camera XML profile is set to
</EncoderProfile>
<ImageEncoding quality="100"/>
<ImageEncoding quality="100"/>
<ImageEncoding quality="100"/>
<ImageDecoding memCap="20000000"/>

However here is analysis of jpge taken with that profile analyzing copmression rating and it's at 97%.

"Approx quality factor = 96.95 (scaling=6.11 variance=1.09)" down below
Compression stats:
Compression Ratio: 6.50:1
Bits per pixel: 3.69:1

Program used, works good before on my G3 which had 100% photo quality. this software was doing 99.6% or something close.

does this mod also mods fro front camera picture and video?
I believe so as front cam uses same xml file and in such case will use same values. I didn't check but i'm pretty sure yes.
BTW mod actually close to 100%. Got one or two photos with 5.5 values which is perfect 100% but mostly is like 97%, depending on amount of objects i assume. I think it's fine at 97% as well, since it's way better then 70% in stock in some cases.

I also have LESS noise reduction mod implemented and still testing it but i think it's also better. Didn't do enough pics. Thing is better have some noise and fix manually if needed then smudged as that's can't be fixed. Sharpening sucks and imo it's pointless

1-How filmed at 60 frames to 30 frames ? I mean the details?
because i install v10 mod and 60fps is very bad detail.
2- can i install on android 6 ? if not, give me a way to install this.

60fps is 60fps which is what is suppose to be. It works just fine and one can tell huge difference especially with moving objects. If on MM you're not happy that' means it's not working at 60fps. I don't bother with MM as you can't do 100% quality jpg mod and increases video bit rate which is whole point of having better camera. MM ruins that unfortunately. That V10 cam ap is pointless if your pic quality suck and it does on MM. Also on MM LUX which adjust screen brightness does not work well as it needs to overlay all other apps and MM with it's permissions causes issues with that. MM sucks. Just cause it's newer doesn't mean it's better. I tested it and don't see anything new, better or greater about. In fact the opposite. App permissions restrictions like in apple, huge minues, lux problems. Mods don't work as that's tied to app permissions in code core. MM is stupid. Period.

No this mod does not work with MM and won't due to app permissions as i said. You need to flash back to LP 5.1 (10N) KDZ. Love my 5.1. Have OTA disabled as well. MM is skip for me. IF google won't fix what they broke with those app permissions i will skip next upgrade as well. MODs need to work period.

Is there any way how to get stock camera quality to CM/AOSP based ROMs? Thank you in advance. Id like to use pure Android experience, but im taking a lot of photos, therefore i need better quality pics. Thanks for responses. :)

it doesnt install using flash fire.. havent use flashify.. give it a try...
the only thing i can flash is xposed nothing else will install... what i did is manually replaced the files and gave 644 permissions...
I did the same and camera is working fine but video recording is not ! also, how do i know if the camera is improved after replacing the stock files with this one ?

I cant even see that option shown in OP screenshot ! no i did not see the video , Youtube is blocked in my office :p . What do you think what mistakes i have done ? i used ES file explorer pro and simply replaced the original files, gave 644 . Rebooted and nothing is changed in UI .

well it has happened to me before..maybe you place it somewhere else.
just rename the mod
camera_config.xml to camera_config1.xml just add a 1 before the dot.xml
and media_profiles.xml to media_profiles1.xml i have it on folder in sd card ..
then move them or copy them to system/ect.

on es file explorer click on homepage on top then itll show device... open device go down to system/ect.. and paste.
you should have both files.. delete or back up original then rename and remove the 1 give it 644 rw-r-r to both files reboot and it should work.. good luck. am off going to bed now..

Requesting the author to edit the thread that it can be done on a root only G4 too. Many of users i think abandoned the mod just because they saw TWRP word in. It can be done via root explorer too .

yeah.. thats how i install some mods.. manually moving them and givem them the required permissons... like i said flash fire doesnt install anything besides xposed.. at least xposed do.. i dont care if i do the rest manually. :)
