yeah.. thats how i install some mods.. manually moving them and givem them the required permissons... like i said flash fire doesnt install anything besides xposed.. at least xposed do.. i dont care if i do the rest manually. :)
hi sorry for bumping this thread but I got a problem moving the files to system/etc.. using root browser it is just copying but still on 0% not progressing,on es file it gives me error. this is the first time i encounter this problem. Do you have any idea what caused this?

My phone just came back from the dead after bootloop problem and motherboard is change. And rooted H818p.

Thanks

Image quality 30fps vs 60fps

A member called yener90 ported the LG V10 Camera app to the LG G4. V10 camera app brings manual video mode and [email protected] I noticed a difference of the sharpness in 30 and 60fps. 30fps is much more sharper.
I made two screenshots:

30fps

60fps

I asked and got and answer:

"60 fps will be recorded at lower resolution. 120 fps even lower. Therefore you got sharpness lose. I also don't understand why the camera is so bad and cant record 120FPS in 1080p."

What about this mod here? will the results be the same? Is there a difference between 30 and 60fps?

Here the link to the other topic

Hi guys. Just wanted to let you know what this mode is not working the way it is set to work, meaning photo quality is NOT at 100% and LG still snaps 97% compression rating in full sunlight, nature pics saturated with data, landscape. I suspect but not tested yet that low light pics will be 70% compression ratting meaning this mod is just not working. I will verify this. I have LP 5.1, rooted, busybox all working fine, flashed mod, rebooted. Same results. Here is data. Sucks balls. LG is blocking this mod somewhere else not in xml file. Basically 97% is first LG default value camera is using so it's not using modded value but still using default 97,xx,70 default values, meaning mod did not take effect.

Verified camera XML profile is set to
</EncoderProfile>
<ImageEncoding quality="100"/>
<ImageEncoding quality="100"/>
<ImageEncoding quality="100"/>
<ImageDecoding memCap="20000000"/>

However here is analysis of jpge taken with that profile analyzing copmression rating and it's at 97%.

Compression stats:

Program used, works good before on my G3 which had 100% photo quality. this software was doing 99.6% or something close.

Q=95 9.88
Q=100 5.27

Just a quick update on this if anyone still follows. So after snapping more pics on vacations and analyzing it threw same tool, some pics come up with 4.47 compression rating and some with 7.xx-8.xx but have not seen higher then 9.88 so basically quality rating is between 100% to 96.xx% which means LG algo still is working to compress somewhat but i didn't see value drop below 96.00% which means value tables in xml are working but also LG algo is working as well. Basically depending on amount of details in environment, if there is landscape with lots of details i noticed it did 4.57 which is 100% but if picture let's say contains faces and some background algo may do 96-98% quality which btw is fine with me as i can't really tell the difference with naked eye but didn't really zoom into details but for exp. letters of the signs are very visable.
Files size is 10MB per jpg which is still half of what DNG would be. My whole point with not shooting DNG and wanting jpg at 100% was that i don't feel like converting 100+ pic later from DNG to JPG in order to upload to social media for example which btw will compress your jpg anyway to 80% or less. But my objective was to have best 100% quality jpg as much as possible as original pic. The more times jpg is compressed by camera or/and website each time the worst off pic will be. But i noticed from my 98% to facebook pics came out beautifully, not able to tell really difference as crop was done from much higher resolution of 16MP to facebook max MP (not sure what it is). For those really good shots one can still use DNG but problem is no website (flicker, 500px or others) are not going to host DNG but only support jpg, png file format so again it's somewhat pointless to shoot DNG unless post process later in lightroom and then convert to jpg but still you will lose that quality of DNG. I've done it. Dng obviously wins but for everyday shots JPG at 100% is just so much more convenient. I'm happy with results even at 96% quality at worst case but algo still works and fluctuates between 96-100% what is the bottom line. Good enough for me but many landscape pics with lost of details like mountains etc came at 100% quality, 4.57 compression ratio.

For those of you that use MM instead of LP even with V10 Camera apk your pics are still worst off due to having compression up to 70% quality on MM as it doesn't work on MM but only LP so LP 5.1 with those xml values is still better then you MM V10 cam due to compression issue, same with LG G5 and V20, Lumia 96, ...etc etc. LG G4 with LP 5.1 still wins in jpg unless u shoot DNG, mainly due to manufacturer imposed jpg compression. At least i have control now at min 96% quality compression on G4. I'm also using noise strenght reduction libs from this thread which fruther should improve quaity of pics but i didn't do any comparisons yet but based on thread seems like it's better picture quality. This also stops working on MM due to application file permissions security google has implemented.

Peace!

okey am not sure. but either dont have it i think... youll get both if install v10port.
Thanks :) i tried v10 cam months ago, but i had problems with saving to sd. maybe its fixed now?

But i found the fault: "mode_slow_motion" was missing in my camera_config.xml. Edit my flashable zip and now its there again.

How to root LG G4 Marshmellow 6.0
and apply this 60fps mod ?
you have unlocked bootloader .? unlock it then install twrp. and mod.. locked bootloader.?? then first you need to find out if you can downgrade to lollipop as theres antirollback in some variants.. if you can then inject rooted image system.
