I flashed but now I can't front record with any app but the stock camera. Snapchat or Instagram etc

Which version did you flash, I flashed the highest quality one on my H811 and both front and rear cams work in all apps.

I was able to get this working on my Sprint G4 with root and a locked bootloader. here's a quick write up.

1. Download the zip you want in the OP.
2. Extract the two files in the system/etc folder from the zip file to your phone.
3. Download a root file Browser, I used Root Explorer.
4. Backup the camera_config.xml and media_profiles.xml files in the system/etc/ folder.
5. Paste the new files into the system/etc/ folder.
6. Change permission of both files to rw-r--r--
7. Reboot

Hi!

Would it be possible to remove the 5 minute 4K recording limit? Should be able because Cinema FV-5 (though glitchy concerning other things) is able to record "infinite" length of 4K videos.

There's a post in the dev section outlining getting twrp onto your phone. Probably better to check that out than me trying to recreate the wheel lol
