Thank you! I was typing when you posted the info on keeping the 44 bootloader in case something happens with relock down the road so I will keep it the way it is. I want to also let you know that I appreciate your work and help!

Will I be able to receive OTA's in this current state? Or is it better to not take them and just flash stock images as they come out?
OTAs will fail if you have any kind of modifications on /system, including root. Find a ROM you like and it'll be updated as the OTAs come out.

You dont want to keep the KK bootloader.
I didn't explicitly recommend keeping the KK bootloader, but I saw in another thread mofo being recommended as a more stable approach for root (as opposed to KingRoot) while using SunShine. Moforoot only works on KK bootloader. Would you mind expanding your thought a bit?

Why ?

With lollipop it seems fine maybe when 6 comes out.

Any note here is the .44 bootloader in case someone wants to update it. Just use fastboot to flash it.
I could be wrong, but I think gpt.bin is needed as well.

Good to know. I haven't tried just yet, so I didn't know for sure.
That means the users of those ROMs should be able to flash this Xposed-less img using mofo and be able to use SunShine to unlock.
Yup. I used this image (I had been running your v5 extras) and Sunshine worked just fine. Flashify TWRP, set the system to writable, then MOFO'd back to your extras image.

After unlocking, I recommend updating all firmware pieces to the most current official release. Never relock, as you will be stuck.

Once unlocked, the most stable route to root is flashing TWRP then supersu.

KK bootloader is more buggy than the 5.1 bootloader, bugs are good if you want unlocked/rooted, but if you are unlocked then they serve no good point.

Hey @jcase, first off thanks for sunshine 3.2!!

Not sure what to do then? If you could help...

OK thanks I will do that, do I get the stock image from the moto firmware site and then just flash the latest stock 5.1?

Set it to 20mp and install the modified camera app to turn off that weird dithering thing they use.

Or you can install the xposed module "Moto Checkbox" by the same developer to turn on all the developer options in Camera and the Facial Recognition in Gallery. By using the xposed module you're not having install modded applications.

Sent from my Turbo I cant flash anything
the bootloader is locked
Yes you can just look it up here in the forums you have to do it through your computer via USB and flash boot it's through a command prompt window on your computer. Google how to flash via fastboot. You can flash without having root or unlocked bootloader you just can't modify the system and the process is different than when you have TW RP on the phone. As a matter of fact look up root junky.com he should have all the drivers and ADB drivers you need to flash your phone and info
