Are you flashing magisk 17.3 beta? Do you have G8141 or G8142? Im trying to figure out why it works on stock kernel for me and not others.Thank You It works and safetynet true on magisk :good:
I have magisk 17.1 with no changes to kernel i copy yoyr patched boot.img on Xperia G8141 with Pie rom G8142 Everything works perfect

I have G8141 with G8142 pie fw and Magisk beta 17.3 with no changes to kernel. The beta works perfect for me and another aussie user.
You have an idea for activation night mode ? Pixel theme overlay and rrs does not help I copy from Pixel 3 night mode and I see activate in advance cmd overlay list but I don't see it in settings

Photo playback it's showing up, but probably need to port the lock screen from XZ3 for it
Everything from XZ3 works Even dynamic vibration but of course we can not use it because we do not have it on our phone Settings.apk from xz3 too

For people who have problems.
-Install the Android 9 rom, either by newflasher or flashtool.
-Once the system is started, turn off.
-Install twrp, enter into recovery and reinstall twrp (In some cases it does not save recovery).
-Install kernel, either original or patched with magisk by hand.
-Install magisk or supersu.
-Restart and enjoy.
* If the system does not work correctly, wipe and format all. Reinstall and enjoy.
All files in mega, I'll to upload the complete rom.

G8142 here, worked as soon as I flashed .306. there was no need to patch.img

G8142, on Pie now. Very fast, camera works with unlocked bootloader, no drm issues. I am very happy with the update.
G8142 with unlocked boot-loader camera work fine , Installed TWRP and Magisk no need to patch anything
what twrp do you have flash? i tried but bootloop ..

The funny thing is that talked to SONY about XperiFix around 6 or 7 Months ago and that this Guy is making Money with this SONY DRM workaround. Seems that SONY does not Supports such People and since the DRM Stuff was never a save Thing for them do they just have changed something. Not that i was the one who forced that but i'm pretty sure SONY was aware of this since XDA is a Public Forum and that was the Point to fix that Issue with the Xperia Phones. No unfunctional Hardware anymore in any Xperia Devices from now on! XDA should Feature that Fact that People find back to Xperia Devices and custom Development. SONY really deserves that!
Lockscreen is SystemUI related and the dynamic vibration will not work due the old vibrator engine, xz2 and xz3 have the new one.
Yes I write about this. I open system UI from xz premium and see Xperia loops clock but it is not active I thing it is possible port system UI from xz3 Ambient settings app working on xz premium We need now port System UI with Xperia loops clock and lockscreen if we want to use functions from photos
