hi guys, I installed the pie firmware and flashed twrp but whenever I flash magisk, it stucks on power by Android and reboots again n again, I tried 17.1 and 17.3, can any one help me with this or a link to their working magisk? I've dual sim xz premium. Ty

works nice on G8141,

i just flashed .306 --> factory reset ---> Flash recovery twrp ----> Flash Magics 17.1 DONE! all works: camera and root

so dont worry if u have g8141

The funny thing is that talked to SONY about XperiFix around 6 or 7 Months ago and that this Guy is making Money with this SONY DRM workaround. Seems that SONY does not Supports such People and since the DRM Stuff was never a save Thing for them do they just have changed something. Not that i was the one who forced that but i'm pretty sure SONY was aware of this since XDA is a Public Forum and that was the Point to fix that Issue with the Xperia Phones. No unfunctional Hardware anymore in any Xperia Devices from now on! XDA should Feature that Fact that People find back to Xperia Devices and custom Development. SONY really deserves that!

Works fine for me. I have G8141, i used aroma twrp (any should work) ad Magisk 17.3. Another friend with G8142 is having bootloops so its trial and error at the moment.

can you help me in any way? how do you flash a firmware for g8142 in g8141?
I have a premium xz with bootloader unlocked and with flashtool if I try to flash the pie vietnam firmware I have error that this firmware is not suitable for my device.

yes it was the same for me. you have to use newflasher. I use the v13.

Nope, just delete appslog, diag, persist, ssd and userdata and you won't have to wipe everything

As long as No one Cracks that too will SONY not Change the need for DRMs. It was just a shame that the Hardware was not fully functional anymore after unlocking the Bootloader. Color Enhancements or Display/Video Enhancements which are not Open source and owned by SONY and are non Essential Things for a Device. 4K and HDR still works. Same for all other Functions too and as long as you don't Change the System do You also Pass Safety Net Checks. In other Words: You can Flash Your Device with Stock and AOSP and everything will work just fine with unlocked Bootloader.

Only one last Thing i miss is Treble Support to get GSI ROMs. But this can be done by our Community if someone is willed to Test...
