Tomorrow a whole slew of us will be receiving our Primes, this is no longer conjecture since UPS has now started receiving our thingys. With all the hoopla it is now time to turn our attention to development or to helping developers.

I do not have the answers here but I would suggest that as many of us as possible hold off on connecting to WIFI and start hanging in the development thread to look for developers requests to help with root.

We have all (the older ones) had fun posting in the general section and flaming the young'uns but it's now time for serious business.

For the new people (anyone who rooted anything for the first time less than a year ago) you are welcome to come also but remember the development section is not a question area, a random thoughts area, a first impression area or anything else like that. If I remember correctly the first sticky is if you did not develop it don't post there.

According to a post in the dev forum, the BB orders come with non rootable firmware.

No link, God damn Nook Tablet doesn't have a copy and paste function.

Yes, new guys and root, and yes I am familiar with the situation. The point is we have a lot of pointless threads here and it wont help to take that to development.

Take a look at the keeping root section in development. If you happen to get an older (before 20111122 version) you may be able to root with razerclaw and if we can find out where the update is cached once hooked to wifi we can pull it and possibly work from there.

Now according to Android Root it still may be a problem because they have increased the decryption by making the blobs signature checked which means no adding to a blob for NVFlash.

I took the time to mention these things instead of my normal snide remark to remind you all that the goal from this point is to help to get root.

Also before someone else mentions it I do not develop I just make roms for personal use. When I say we I mean we helping the real developers, like Gnufabio, Roach, kracked, blades, clemsyn et al
