I wish it worked for the ZTE Blade Apex2. It doesn't. It's funny because it's a phone from China.

Thanks for your support and you can also try to use desktop version if your device can not be rooted by kingroot. Our desktop KingRoot very good at deal with SAMSUNG, although it has no English UI.

Question : Does this root method disrupt or mess up Note 4 features : Bluetooth connectivity, WiFi connectivity, S-Pen functions, ?
I want to root, but I don't want to ruin my phone ( I don't have the proper firmware or recovery to fix my NOTE 4, to return to stock if something goes wrong .. I can only do factory reset and pray) .. Note 4 SM-N910A AT&T Model , running Stock 5.0.1 lollipop , locked bootloader .. If I decide to try this root method, I will post my results to help others .. and developers

Are you sure you support it for this version? GEN_EU_P892E10V1.0.0B02, its update.zip is found in the Finland downloads for the Apex2 in the ztedevice.com -> support -> downloads section (I can not link URLs in this forum)

I have run Kingroot latest and several other similar programs and they do not root it.

It just goes to reboot and then it's not rooted

edit: Some versions of it seem to be able to first be turned into the Spanish "Orange" version of the android build and then be rooted with popular tools, but this particular version seem to be bootloader locked.

Is there development for the Verizon Galaxy Note 4? The AT&T version posted doesn't seem to work for the verizon variant. The process will complete to obtain root access (on shipped firmware) however even the Kinguser app won't get permissions to remove system applications.

Really appreciate you guys work on this app. Those of us with the ZTE Zmax have been having mixed success with the 4.0 version, fighting it every step of the way.
Could you provide some insight as to where this exploit is happening? I have personally got root from KingRoot 4 times now, but it refuses to do so again. (lost root while testing for development)

Those of us with the Z970 are only achieving root success after 30 tries and more (mostly more, way more). I am up to almost 100 on my recent attempts.
We have tried all sorts of ideas and methods to improve success rates. It seems to be VERY hit or miss.
At my current position, it seems as if the KingRoot app is stuck in a perpetual loop. I am getting the same results every time now. Reboots at the same times, and fails almost always at 70%. This was not the case when I obtained root the 4 times before. The results were always varying.

Please let us know if there is a way to log the progress of the app so we can figure out where root is being obtained. If not to only help the users, but also as debugging info for future development of the KingRoot app.

Generally, Root will not ruin your device, we just install Su and Kinguser into your system according to system exploit. For note4, I guess you need to try desktop version in final. That's maybe flash third recovery or just do some fix on your stock recovery. It really depends on your ROM detail. We can not sure if work would going well in AT&T model, but we have success experience in root note4. May be you need root with app three to four times then try desktop several times. Good luck, hope kingroot working well
