[ROOT][Android 7.0][EMUI 5.0]SuperSU 2.82 for EMUI 5

I have installed "Version 1 / b - Name: 2.6-SuperSU2.82-EMUI5-SelPermissive.zip" and it works pretty well on P9 but I do not see the SuperSu icon in the Drawer

Have you searched all sites of the Homescreen - normally it's somewhere (not on same place than before) ?
If it's really not there, unzipp the SuperSU zip and open folder "common" Inside is the SuperSU.apk.
Install it.
Do you use an alternative Launcher like Nova?

I think there a mistake here with steps...

Note: If you are rooted with 2.79 or 2.81 do following:
1) Copy 2.82 to external SD
2) Make "Complete Unroot" from SuperSU App
3) SuperSU asking for boot.img Restore - 2x YES
4) Phone makes reboot - don't wait - press VOL+ the whole time until you boot to TWRP
5) Flash SuperSU
6) Search on Homescreen for SuperSU App and open it - look if you're done - if yes =good - if no:
1) Flash original (unmodified) boot.img with Fastboot or restore it from the Stock TWRP Backup of same Firmware
2) restored from TWRP Backup - flash SuperSU
2) flashed instead with Fastboot - disconnect USB from Device and with Power and VOL+ boot to TWRP and flash SuperSU

If your not rooted, just flash SuperSU with TWRP.

No, there isn't a mistake, we have tested it several times with this two methods.
Why do you think - and which step should be not right?

Okay - when you made first 6 steps and SuperSU is successful installed, you don't need the next steps.
I wrote - if no: mens, if SuperSU isn't successful install, then make next step (alternative method) begins with
1) flash original boot.img - or restore it from a TWRP Backup
2) if flashing boot.img with fastboot mode (different to restore it with TWRP...
Okay I should maybe write this more clear!
I will do it later tonight or tomorrow.

Hi. Unable to complete the flash with TWRP on b383, reboot during the process. Then I rollback to mm and update to b386 directly.
Unlocked bootloader normally.
Flashed new TWRP and su with permissive (nr2 on op).
Perfect! Rooted etc and no bugs.

Yes, but it doesn't work, because of supolicy.
But Chainfire will add support with SR2 of 2.82

Updated supersu 2.82 - 06.06.2017

SuperSU 2.82 for EMUI5 is now updated.
Thanks for all reports and inputs - I think this version should work now for hopefully all devices with Firmwares from B38x up.
It is now just the original SuperSU with some more Lines in the script and without modifiication with phh superuser. I have tested it on P9 with Stock Firmware, unrooted, with Stock Firmware rooted and with Custom Rom rooted -
Very important is: If your phone is rooted with previous modified versions of SuperSU - you must make a complete Unroot - before flashing the new Version - only with this step it can work (Guide is in OP)
But if you are not rooted you can just flash SuperSU. For the new Version it should be also no Problem, for example if SuperSU 2.83 comes out, to update the Binary after Playstore Update - because its the originial SuperSU, only customized for Huawei.​

You must unroot from SuperSU App - and do exactly the steps from Post #1 OP
After Unroot, phone restart, immediately press Vol+ and hold Vol+ until you are booted to TWRP.
Then flash SuperSU new
See what I have written there

You are on Stock b386 yet, right?
If you have successfully flashed SuperSU 2.82 v2 SelPermissive - after you have rebooted to system and opened SuperSU App to see if it was successful -
You can flash busybox yds universal.zip.
After booting into system you can boot again to TWRP.
And flash my modified Viper4Android:
