Do you have Stock Rom or KangV Rom? Send me build number please.
Did 2.79 Emui work for you?
If you have Stock you can try first Unroot from SuperSU App, after flashing the original Stock boot.img.
And then reflash 2.82
tried all of those & more possibilities

and none worked nxt l29 c432 b560 both of ur previous releases are working & am currently using 2.8.1

THX a lot for support ^^

Everything works but developer options crashes. So I had to go back to 2.81.
Is your TWRP for this device fully working (can it mount f2fs data, and backup and restore everything?) - if not I can make a nonverity version for KangV Roms - maybe this solve the issue

Yes TWRP 3.1.1.0 is fully working. Before I had 3.1.0.2. Flash failed and with 3.1.1.0 flash successfully. But developer options still crashes.

This could be solved perhaps with a Wipe of Dalvik and Cache - but after Root, when system is restartet (not immediately after flashing SuperSU)

I just did it and dev opt still crashes.
I will wait for your test version. Ty
Thanks! Flashed 2.82 after switching to original b587 boot, now everything works fine. No problem with dev options.
That's good news - thanks for your feedback.
Which version did you use? @jasonseye

@cline2 It's interesting.. Same device, same Rom, working here but not there :)

What you can try is following:
Open Settings, Apps, right down menu more - click "show system processing"
Search for settings. Go inside - you see "storage" and "permissions " Open first permissions and allow "storage" if it is not set - go back one window to "storage" and delete inside: data and cache.
Settings switch now away, never mind.
Reboot phone and try, if Developer Options are working now.

I think it is not the fault of SuperSU if this problem occur - it must be something with configuration.
Maybe the Stock Firmware from which you flashed KangV Rom was different or something like that.

But anyway I make a second alternative SuperSU zip for KangV Roms

I don't see show system processing in Settings.
