Root Asus Zenfone 5 KITKAT 4.4.2 (100% work)

I followed the steps but my devices was not detected when I run adb devices. If you encounter this download the USB driver for ASUS. http://support.asus.com/download.as...ne 5&p=39&s=1&os=32&hashedid=96nqlxHp1VKV4Rdz . You will notice on the device manager that MTP is not recognized. After doing this my device is now detected and follow the rest of the steps. Once you run the SU. I upgraded it first and SU binary update prompts in and it will require a reboot. My phone is now rooted. Thanks.

my play store is not working after rooting
wat to do?

I'm having the same problem as you. This is what I've done and it might help you.

Playstore could be opened but only blank. search also didnt show anything.
At first SuperSU didn't suggest me to update right after successfully root my phone.
SuperSU > Setting > GOOGLE PLAY > View all my apps >
Automatically all the apps by chainfire are shown in playstore > I click SuperSU and then choose update. After that open SuperSU and I'm able to update the binary and reboot my phone. But the problem with Playstore still persist.

what I do is go to Setting > Apps > ALL > Play Store > Force Stop then reboot the phone. After that my Play store working as it should be.

Turn off your phone after that
Press the power button and then as soon as the phone vibrates release the power button and hold down the volume up button untill you see the droidboot(I dont know what is it called)after reaching their u have to select reset option(navigate using volume up and down and select by pressing power button)

i factory reset the phone and during the startup when i try to login its giving an error

"Couldn't sign in

Can't establish a reliable connection to the server .

This could be a temporary problem or your android device may not be provisioned for data services.if it continues, call customer care."

but my mobile is already connected to my wifi network and i can also browse through the browsers

what to do??

adb drivers issue

Hello guys, I'm having problem with the intel adb drivers, my laptop cant see my zenfone 5 when I plug it in, all it has is the exclamation mark when I check in device manager, tried reinstalling and still the same, tried using one from Asus's adb drivers but it cannot locate the files. what gives? Need help on this guys, using windows 7 sp1 64 bit.

find UnRoot-Zenfone5-cht.bat

or u can full unroot via super su app
super su - settings - at the bottom full unroot , click on that
and done

whats the meaning of this? thats why till now cant root my phone..help.

root it on baseband version 1448_1.4.49.0_1205, face some problem after root,always restart.automatically, will lag while playing games and.music, sometimes opennormal apps like facebook, Instagram also same, please help to resolve this problem
