I finally managed to figure out how to do this, without kingroot or another fishy method
No need to unlock bootloader and you retain your stock version
First of all, you need a Lollipop 5.0 rom to flash your device into a version you can work with.
I personally used C6506_10.6.A.0.454 R2E_Customized US.ftf
Get Flashtool installed
Start it up and plug in your device. Once it gets recognized, hit the XF button on the top right.
That's Xperifirm, a data base to xperia stock firmware.
On the left column, select your device, then on the right, hit your carrier, and use the link under the phone picture to download the latest stock firmware for your device.
Once downloaded, you'll find it under user/"username"/.flashtool/firmware (mine was C6506_10.7.A.0.222_1272-2020_R6E.ftf)
Get the 5.0 Rom you got previously in that same folder
Now to flash 5.0 on your device: In flashtool, hit the flash button, flashmode, select C6506_10.6.A.0.454 R2E_Customized US.ftf in the firmware list and Flash.
Follow the instructions
Your device is now on Lollipop 5.0.2, first step is over :good:
Then, download Dual Recovery from Nut's site
Extract it somewhere you can easily find, keep the .zip for later and run on pc.
When prompted, I chose option 3 (Install on unrooted device or something like that)
Once done, your device will reboot to recovery. Leavet it plugged in, we'll come back to it later
Next step is the latest PRF Creator to create your own Pre-rooted rom
You pretty much already have all you need to do that:
FTF file: Use the file you got from xperifirm: user/"username"/.flashtool/firmware (mine was C6506_10.7.A.0.222_1272-2020_R6E.ftf) Remember?
SuperSU.zip: Chainfire's post
Recovery.zip: That's the file you got from Nut's site: ZL locked dual recovery 2.8.26.zip
Check the first 4 boxes on top right: Kernel, FOTA, Modem, LTAlabel and Create.
The file "prerooted firmware.zip" will be inside your PRF Creator folder.
Transfer it to your sd card
Ok, remember your device is in recovery, well hit install, find your prerooted firmware.zip file on sd card and swipe to flash.
From there, not much to do. Once flashed, device will reboot to system, update apps and you're all set! :good:
So, I created nothing but the tutorial in this.
Great members made all the pieces that I just had to piece together so all the merit goes out to them.
Thanks to: zxz0O0, Nuts, Chainfire, Androxyde, and probably some I forgot
I hope you guys like this!!
