Well the link is for the official cf_autoroot. You have confirmed exactly my point in post #275.
Maybe someone else in particular should take note. [emoji6]

I would suggest you install the latest Supersu via twrp. You shouldn't have to restore your stock boot.img, just flash supersu v2.78 sr3.

If you still get issues you may have to flash the stock firmware and then twrp + supersu.

OK. I should I had done that.

Now, my tab is stuck on the bootlogo screen with this text on its top.

It doesnt turn off.

Im waiting until the battery is over, to recharge it and try to enter on download mode.

You can enter download mode any time, whatever state the device is in. No need to let the battery drain.
Press and hold POWER + HOME +VOL DOWN until your device restarts and download mode appears.

Everything went fine by now. Thanks a lot! :D:D:D

Entered download mode, installed TWRP, and superuser.

No need to unlock bootloader?

Anyone can suggest me a stable and fast rom? Always use my tab to work (heavy PDFs, and some daily multimedia).

Houston, we have a problem.

I used the CF-autoroot for my T810 with the proper files and Odin.

When I boot the device, I got this message on the top of the boot logo "RECOVERY IS NOT SEANDROIND ENFORCING".

What gone wrong? What should I do?
Hello to you,
You have nothing done wrong… its normal that this appears. I have it too on my Phone. Its a bit annoying but thats it.. It will cause no further prob on your Device. I dont know if there is a Kernel that fix this..

So if CF-Autoroot isn't the way to go to root (in my case the T810 on Marshmallow), what would you suggest (maybe a link would be great)?

Any plans for a way to root the newer version of the tab s2? The sm-t818v? I would love to root this bad boy but can only find up to 817.

I've been asking about the T818T also. It's the T-Mobile version. I've never heard an answer back. I think that's probably bad news. Kinda sucks that no one will answer the question to be perfectly honest.

It looks like the 818 has a snapdragon CPU. You'll need to ask in the 813 thread.

Cheers,
Rich
