[ROOT + CWM]AOSP Browser + Bookmarks Sync + Flash

[Toss3]

So many people have been having problems with syncing their bookmarks, so I decided upon saving them from some trouble:

1. Just download the ZIP below, EXTRACT the APKs inside, and move them to /system/app
2. Change the permission of the files to RW-R--R-- (or chmod 644).
3. Find and rename the following apk(inside the /system/app folder): BrowserProviderProxy.apk to BrowserProviderProxy.apk11 (or anything else really).
4. Reboot
5. Go into Settings -> Accounts -> Google -> [email protected](furthest up the list) -> Sync Browser
6. Enjoy the normal Android browsing experience! :good:

IF the flash player does not work -》 install it as a normal apk and start it once from the app drawer (should work after that)

Of course. Edit: Missed the part about not being rooted, so no it won't work.

no it will not work. You know why ? Because you need to delete (rename) BrowserProviderProxy.apk

Same exact apk that is in the zip. Just install it as normal as I said in the OP.

Would be nice to know if it is possible to use the stock browser of Galaxy S3 (firmware 4.2.1) instead of the AOSP one.
