I had it frozen. Still had the FC issue after defrosting. I re-Odin last night, which resolved the issue. I will freeze some apps again tonight excluding the magazinehome apk and report back.

I froze the same apps as before excluding the 2 magazine apks and have had no issues with my email force closing.

So this is a new one for me... I factory reset, after taking root.. and I had xposed and stuff installed.. I changed my DPI prior to the factory reset,

well when I factory reset. It kept my DPI changes...

Is this normal?

I'm retarded: I'm so used to change ROMs and wiping system and everything else... I know why DPI was saved... I'm stupid :/

The note 3 is generally a GSM device as well, and the Verizon version is no different.
It may have GSM Capabilities but it would need to be unlocked to allow for usage of those capabilities as Verizon is a CDMA company and it will only operate on CDMA out of the box.

Obviously any "world" capable phone, like the Note 3 has to be able to run on GSM but it is something that Verizon changes on their end to allow it. I don't think you can do it yourself without high-end knowledge of this kind of thing or a Verizon rep unlocking your device for GSM usage.

Will unrooting through supersu remove custom from the bootlogo? I think I'm gonna return mine and get the dev edition.
