Did some digging but couldn't find any useful information that is current regarding the Verizon LG V20 and rooting it.

I see there is a method for rooting firmware version 12a that supposedly works for version 13a but wouldn't know about that.

Does anyone know if it's possible to root the current version of the firmware? and where can I find a tutorial?
If not is it possible to downgrade from this version of the firmware to the latest rootable version and go from there?

My firmware version is VS99515A.

I'd really like to be able to unlock some features and get rid of the bloatware that is taking up quite a few GB's of space.

If not I'm not going to sweat it much as it's still a great device that would service my needs as is but of course if there is an option to have a better experience then I'll take it.

Would also like to know this as I would like the bluetooth fix updates as i'm still on 10b but still waiting for xposed to come out for nougat and don't want to lose my ability to root.

I would like to know about this too, I have the recent update and would like to know if I can downgrade with the lg flash tool and a link to a kdz that would work...

I was figuring this was the way based on some other places on the net. However I wasn't sure if 13a was properly supported for root or not. I know that 12a is. Any insight or confirmation that 13a is in fact rootable?
