I have the same issue...i tried to use Viper4android but it doesn't work on my device.
Anyone has an idea how to fix this ? ATM it's almost impossible to listen while on the bus etc. it's too quiet

I've done everything from the beginning. My phone is again unlocked and rooted. But this time headset's volume is OK.
On the first time I uninstalled some of the bloatware. Maybe one of them effected audio algorithm.
@Serekzolty Did you make such uninstallation?

On the first time I uninstalled:
Asphalt Nitro - Booking.com - Drive - Duo - Ebay - News - Higame - Kingdoms - Play Videos - Play Books - Play Music - Play Games - Quik - Slides - Spider Man

Does someone have any opinion? Can this programs effect audio algorithm?

----

One more thing.
On the first time I used different TWRP and SU.
This time I used twrp-mate10-lite.img and SuperSU-v2.82-SR5-for_decrypted .zip
May be first TWRP and SU deleted files for algorithm.

Ok. I think I found it. Problem is: while we are wiping data for decrypting we are loosing HUAWEI HISTEN SOUND EFFECT and it is not in hw_public_rne-l21.zip file. So it is not coming back.

After putting it in place everything is fine and with Viper4Android perfect.
File is SWSHeadphone.apk and should be placed under /data/hw_init/product/app/SWSHeadphone/

I put it in hw_public_rne-l21.zip and flash it back. Headset is loud again...
Don't forget to add in updater-script the lines (see picture attached).

I copied it with CHModing the mentioned paths but it doesn't work for me. Tried to do the zip file, but I get zip damages error.
I just unpacked it, put the files in the right place and change the update-script. Then packed it in a zip again but I can't flash it after my changes.
Any guide on how to make flashable zips ? Am I doing something wrong ?

why dont you just using Root explorer, create folder SWSHeadphone ini /data/hw_init/product/app
and paste SWSHeadphone.apk into that folder.
gave folder SWSHeaphone permison 0755, ang SWSHeadphone.apk permission 0644
restart your phone, and youl find huawei histen sound effect back into sound setting

It's very good to hear that.
Just a question to make situation clear. Did you format "Data Partition" before rooting to enable for backup it?
By me:
-When rooted without formating everything is OK. (You cannot backup data in twrp)
-But when formated before rooting, they gone. (You can backup it)

Oh, Yes You are right! I have forgotten the step to Wipe/Format-User-Data before rooting! Do You know, is it possible to Wipe/Format-User-Data AFTER root, to enable possibility to make Backups also of the Data-Partition!?
Thanks!

help bro how can i slove this

You have taken the false files! This here is for C432 (Europe) devices, and when I remember correctly, You have C185 (Middle East)! I think You have shot away Your Bootloader, and with the DC-Unlocker thing, I think You have make it worst! Look at the Thread here, because other have also used DC-Unlocker, and other have restored the Device after brick, but that's tricky, You must look! Have You try Emergency-Restore with Hisuite (PC)?

Finally I managed to solve the problem of the full backup from twrp "data" included, it is very easy but you will lose every userdata file.
1. Start huawei mate 10 lite in recovery twrp
2. Wipe ----> advanced wipe
3. Check "DATA"
4. Repair or Change File System
5. Change File System
6. EXT4 ( mine is f2fs)
7. ------> swipe to change
8. F2FS
9. ------> swipe to change
now the smartphone will be like new but the backup will work 100%

Hello!
I know a bit about rooting, and have my device successful rooted Yesterday! Sorry when this is a beginner question, but how You give a permission like 0755,0644,... to a folder! Maybe I will root again, with wipe/format-user-data, and after this I must restore HW-Themes and HW-Histen. For HW-Themes I know the procedure, and I understand the steps You wrote for restore HW-Histen, except how give permissions to folders, because I have not done this so far?!
Thanks!

    Works TWRP fully functional on Your Device!? I mean, can You make full Nandroid-Backup with TWRP (All Partitions)!? I have the same Device, but have not rooted, because OTA-Firmware-Update don't work anymore after root, and I don't want to lose the ability for OTA-Firmware-Updates!
    Thanks!
