You Can Use Custom Roms On Galaxy Note 2....To Remove Knox....But Warranty Will Be Void...
I don't understand. if using custom roms removes Knox, then once removed, can't I use the official 4.1.1 or 4.1.2? But I doubt it is so easy.

I accepted the OTA upgrade from 4.1.2 to 4.3 and now I'm regretting of it. This Knox crap uses the 30% of cpu while the phone is in standby, draining drastically the battery, It fails downloading language packs in the Samsung keyboard prefs, the Gallery app is unstable...

I want to remove this Knox crap but I don't want root since I don't use it and my Barclays banking App refuses to run in a rooted terminal and I use Helium for backup that doesn't need root access.

If you Want To Remove Knox Then Root Is The Only Way To Remove Knox.....And After Removing Knox You Can Unroot The Phone....Use My Method To Root....It will Automatically Remove Knox And After you Are Rooted , Just Go To SuperSU Then Settings And Unroot Permanently , And You ARe Done.... HOpe I Helped....You CAn Downgrade After Removing The Knox Bootloader....

curiosity?

so... I did all of this lovely stuff and it worked well. Downgraded and installed Tigra rom v4 and ran that for a while and wanted to go back to stock (don't ask why... curiosity maybe?) . Tried to flash stock image 4.1.2 and even 4.3 but each says unsupported version. so my question is... will I ever be able to revert to stock? If so (a) how (b) can i receive OTA with knox triggered. (c) now i know how this works can always go back to custom...yes? Currently on tigra which i restored from backup image. wouldn't let me flash it normally through odin (odd right?)

[version 4.3 Tigra rom baseband mj5 (dn3 rom xxuemj5 v2.0) n7100 ]
Thanks for the help in advance
