In order for me to continue accessing my Exchange email, my company is demanding that I encrypt and password protect my phone. Are there any issues with doing this? I have SS already installed. Any issues with encrypting my SD card too? Any issues with future updates with an encrypted phone?

Well, if you Root your phone and don't Freeze or Remove the SDM 'auto update' .apk your phone will update to the newest patch, and you will lose root. Just saying. Updating = Not worth it when you WILL lose root...

I agree and I have removed the auto update. I just want to know what impact encrypting will have.

There is an Xposed Module that will bypass the exchange security requirements. My company has the same requirements but I use the module to bypass because I hate carrying two phones all the time.
