Com a antena de GPS que já estava instalada no carro o fm, o som e os comandos de volante, tudo parava. Quando instalei o aparelho no carro, já tinha uma antena de GPS instalada - o cabo era bem mais longo. Quando eu desligava o conector da antena de GPS e afastava o cabo para longe a sintonia melhorava. Então resolvi o problema trocando a antena de GPS antiga pela antena que o vendedor adicionou no kit e também mudei a posição da antena GPS para uma coluna da porta esquerda na altura do painel da carro- essa antena tinha o cabo menor. O FM melhorou. Mesmo assim, tenho dificuldade de sintonizar a frequência de 100,5MHz e algumas outras. Conclusão: o rádio FM dele é ruim mesmo.

I have an 8227l head unit and connected it to the flash tool, pressed reset button in corner of stereo and the flash tool read and downloaded a few text files with info.

How do I get the stereo screen back on now? The computer recognizes it's on when the USB is connected but I can't get the screen back on and in the normal mode.

Tried pressing reset button, holding reset button, touching screen everywhere, holding power button. Also not recognized in ADB currently.

All I did on flash tool was the memory download. No flashing. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Is it possible to just root (or add twrp and could root after) to one of these units, without needing to modify the rom thats currently installed?

I have one of these aftermaket units, but made by xtrons.

I would like to add some root apps and hopefully disable some of the stock bloatware. As it is quite slow on first boot (like each time i start the car)

I would like to keep the current rom on board. I dont have any update files for this current version i've looked around but cant see anything. Even the xtrons website has information on the device, but no software support.

So i would like to avoid bricking the unit.

I can post more info on the device if needed.

But i just want to know are these roms protected in any way or are they easy to flash a modded boot.img / recovery without some bootloader security error popping up.?

Hi everyone, i have a 10 inch android 10 8227l unit, from junsun, the steering controls works with delay sometimes, and sometimes dont works. After 10-20 sec they works again and so on. I ask the seller, he gave me some files to update, 8227l-8.bin...i.updated, the same problem after uodate, plus another problem, the radio app dont wirks, and i have no.sound on radio app,.i cant change the fm station...can help me ?

Hello, I have one problem maybe can someone solve it, I haven't tried rooting before so...
I'm trying to get my head unit connected to a PC computer in order to root and install firmware all over again.
With all help from a videos on youtube it still can get no connection to PC (WIN 10 latest), nothing.

Unit is ALPS FF5000 mtk chipset AC8227L with DSP TDA7851 - 2GBx16GB
HMI: TSKJ.xxxxx.xxxxx..xxx.ANDROID 10.20191907 (fake 10 / OREO 8.1)
MCU: TS907 ARM 7
motherboard inside CHS.503DSP-v2 (older from 2016-2020)

When I connect to USB port and go to flash tool and hit check/read memory it hangs and at status bar, nothing happens.
Device is powered down and connected thru USB cable (2.0) but nothing.
Installed all D.COM USB drivers and etc.

Sometimes changing OS or PC to another can help.

Find a zip file / update that contains in name UI4 and 8227, then update. And yes version 63 or 6.3

    no I couldn't figure it out. I think it's a software thing. I turn off the GPS from the system settings with the code 140 and turn it back on with the code 141. It detects it without any problems for 15 minutes, at most 30 minutes. then it finds no satellites. Sometimes it finds satellites on its own. I don't try to fix it anymore.

    Install TWRP
    Method 1 (no root, with flash tool):
    - Follow instructions of "Unbrick with flash tool" below
    - When Downloading, choose the twrp recovery file from this link that i prepared to support this unit. The stock image is also supplied on the flash tool instructions.
    - Note: TWRP crashes the UI if the screen times out for 1 minute, so go to settings and disable screen timeout.

    Method 2 (with root):
    Start a remote adb shell and replace recover partition with the twrp file.

    dd if=/tmp/recovery.bin of=/dev/block/platform/soc/by-name/RECOVERY


    Root
    Method 1 - Magisk via TWRP
    Copy Magisk install (tested with v20.4) and Magisk App to an USB drive.
    Plug drive reboot to TWRP and choose to install the Magisk install file.
    Clean dalvik cache.
    Copy the APK to the device /system/app folder for a system application (you could also have the apk manualy instaled before).
    Reboot and its done!

    Method 2 - With no Root yet

    USB OTA update:

    - Unit should detect in 30s and update automatically.


    Enter Upgrade Mode :
    - Plug in a FAT32 formated USB pen with the firmware files "8227L-8.bin" and "8227L-8.upd" saved to the root folder (ask your seller for the updated firmware files).
    - Press reset.
    - Keep touching the screen with one finger quickly until "detected" appears in green, recovery now starts.


    Recovery / Factory Reset:
    - Press reset.
    - Keep touching the screen quickly with 5 fingers at the same time until "detected, entering recovery" appears.
    - Will enter TWRP or do a factory reset if using the stock recovery and reboot after.


    Unbrick with flash tool:
    - Connect to computer by USB cable (use the 4 pins usb cable not the 6 pin on the back of the unit)

    You might have to go the SPFlash tools route, that's what I ended up doing. Read the post where I got my software to restore the unit.

    Just updated my unit. All went OK. I post pictures of before versión, after version, different launcher after install, cpu-z (how can I see if is really android 10?), etc...

    Summary: All works ok, launcher is different.

    I read somewhere, at least for my unit, that the usb Drive used for updating should be connected to the usb cable that has 4 wires( in my unit, one cable has 6 wires).
