I found an article on another site it shows these 3 methods of Rooting Moto E3 Power -

Towelroot (On Phone)
KingoRoot (On Phone)
Root Genius (On PC)

Few of my friends tried these 3 methods and they work.

Towelroot says 'Your Phone is currently not supported'
Kingroot force closes on launch and does nothing

Edit : Mine is Moto E3 Power (XT 1706), may be that's why it didn't work.

Please try AutoRoot Tools v4.7.1 on PC or RootGenius v3.1.7 on PC. One of them should work as they worked on other Lenovo phones. Make sure Bootloader is unlocked and the "USB debug" is enabled from Developer Settings.

5) repack system.img

Cool, Which Firmware version did you tried it on ? I guess you have Moto E3 Power - XT1706 Model.
Also will the process formats the phone to factory defaults and erase data ?

Please explain "Paste Root Files in Desired Folders" Which Root files you used and can you specific folders to put them in.

Many thanks for the link. It is very essential that we have stock firmware handy when we have a new chipset like MT6735. Now, there are some bugs in the phone app that controls calls and SMS and APNs. One serious bug is that JIO VOLTE immediately stops if we insert Airtel 4G SIM and again insert JIO SIM. I have however found a temporary solution for this. In command window, type adb shell, then type 'pm clear com.android.providers.telephony', reboot and it is working again. After root, we can change the phone app with that of Moto G4 play phone app.
