gotcha. I was not able to find OEM unlock in the developer settings. I was able to turn them on tapping the build number five times, but oem unlock wasnt on option that I saw. I wonder if its just not there or perhaps I missed it. IS there a way to create or flash a file that enables adb? Besides the combo? Cuz not seeing oem unlock.
Thanks

Are these sm-g930 US phones?

You don't have to enable anything, after you do a factory reset with the combi, then reflash with stock and the FRP should be gone.
If you want to enable OEM, that's up to you, but some carrier versions do not have OEM Unlock available under Developer Options, that's just the way it is.

Try extreme syndicate root from the s8 thread. In theory it should work

Ok thanks, I will look into that. They are all G930P Sprint branded. All running latest version. Bit11
here is files for s7 you need to be on combo firmware just follow directions from s8 thread but use s7 files
https://docs.google.com/uc?export=download&id=1uGnbUA_3x0AQrzF5ZAvwRzUbkKwDQK1-

thread for instructions skip to number 4 on instructions since combo will already be flashed
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s8/development/root-t4060701

If the app installer bat fails too install audiocore app then it will not work on s7 unless the s7 audio core app has same features so if it fails all you can do is try the rest of instructions and see if it works it either will or wont

If anyone else wants to try this above method to gain root on combo feel free. If it works remember your only gaining root on combo which will not help you can root on stock but could be helpful to gain other things but there is a good chance it probably won’t work anyway but you never know

The latest so called G93x "Eng-boot" Rev.B/11 found on various sites, is unfortunately just a mislabeled combi boot, NOT for rooting!
I have emailed all those sites which host this wrong file, but apparently they're not interested in correcting it, so don't get too happy.
I did contact the guy, using phone number listed on his website, and he said he will be releasing one soon for it, he didn't give me any ETA for it.

Hi all
big noob here, I've been trying to root my phone for a while, whish I came across this thread earlier.... I have B rev bootloader so I guess it's not possible yet. Just wanted to say it's pretty awesome to see all your work, I'm looking forward to when my phone will finally be able to be rooted.

Unfortunately, I'm not aware of anyone actively working on the S7. It's an old phone and out of updates, so it's not likely that the new bootloader will ever get root.

It could still happen... But I wouldn't hold your breath

maybe one of these days Ill use my dev skills to crack the rev B bootloader. Finding the U firmware to be mostly satisfactory atm though; just had to use the universal app debloater script along with it and it feels almost like an ASOP experience.

I wish you good luck, but no recent US Samsung booloader has been cracked so far, and a lot of smart people have been trying for years.
The best hope is to wait for an real Rev.B eng-boot, then go from there.

The last bootloader to be cracked on a Samsung device was the Verizon s5 and that was only because a developer edition existed so Samsung is winning the game but hey its always a possibility, nothing is uncrackable

This is probably a rookie question. Installation with perfect. I know running the Oreo rooted with the seamless SU. Although when I check status it says why carrier is Samsung. How do I make my carrier Sprint?
