Root for Verizon Galaxy Note 2 SCH-1605

Hey everyone..

I have been looking for a current working root for my verizon note 2 4.4.2 kitkat

I have been looking all over and have tried several different root methods however still have came up with anything working..
can someone please post a link to a forum with a current working root

I am pretty sure CF auto root works, but must be run from odin. And it is not pretty, knox and a few other triangles show.

okay cool. i will try that and see if it works. but it does state that if you flash any of the bootloaders it will brick your device with the exception of nexus.
so that kinda worries me a little

but this would be the file that i need ?

Look in about device, or about phone Model should be SCH-i605 Baseband VRUFND7, and that sounds right for kitcat 4.4.2.

yea no luck. i got the right file and everything but when i open Odin program just keeps failing and there isnt a pda button on the right side and it isnt finding my device when its in download mode.
but finds it when the device is on.

back to the drawing board lol thanks for the help though

Did you install the Samsung drivers, the box is labeled AP, but it is called PDA. But it does not matter until you get the USB connected.

Yes I did install the drivers and they worked on all the other attempted roots. Which is weird but I will try to reinstall them.

Maybe go into device manager and uninstall everything named USB, then use find new hardware to reinstall them fresh. Sometimes other USB drivers will hose the Samsung drivers ability to connect.
