tell me about it. Worst is that i took it to a sprint repair center and they said they could not fix it. I was like i thought you guys said warranty covered everything. then hes like it works like your car insurance where your entitled to pay a deductible. then i was i like ah i dont feel like arguing so i guess ill just order one through asurion. but im stuck charging the phone the whole day

Sprint oh so good service again -.-, that blows tho, you basically can't leave, unless you're leaving your phone home xD, but let's not get off topic tho :p, I'm gonna have to save this thread, might end up on Linux soon :p

S3 rooted with your help

Here's a step by step guide showing you how to root your Galaxy S3 running on Jelly Bean for both Mac OSX and Linux.
It is currently working for all Jelly Bean versions.

Details and Written Step-by-Step Guide: http://www.androidrootz.com/2013/05/how-to-root-galaxy-s3-on-mac.html

I would like to thank you for your awesome help toward this community .
Now I have a rooted s3 phone.

Update:

After 10 minutes, my phone just froze and turn into black screen.
Now, it stuck at samsung logo. I did a back up and installed cwm recovery.
I can't get into recovery mode.

Please help me. This is my only phone and I use it for work.

Thank you

Yes you can still get to those.
yes I can still access those option.
I think I accidentally erased :touchwiz: app from my phone. And some how my phone just froze.
So I did reset factory and erase data.

As of now I just rooted my phone again and try to restore my "backup" before this things happen.

Q: how can I install :touchwiz: to my phone?
Q: How can I keep my custom recovery mode?
Q: Can I make my phone to "S:eek:ff" condition?
Q: How should I do inside download mode?

Thank you for all the quick support, I will try to replay ASAP because I have to work with an odd hour schedule.

If you can access custom recovery which is power+hone+up volume your phone should still be rooted and everything is fine. All you need is a ROM to flash. Take your SD card out and using a computer download a TW rom and put it on your SD card. Put the SD card into the phone and boot into the custom recovery and flash the rom.
Use the stock rom on this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=6 you can use either of the first two, I would use the 2nd one DeOdexed sprint stock rom. Good luck.
