1. Download this.
2. Install the LG Drivers.
3. Extract the RAR File to get the .TOT file.
4. Unzip "lgupnew.zip"
5. Run LGUP_Store_Frame_Ver_1_14_3.msi
6. LGUP_8994_DLL_Ver_0_0_1_18.msi
7. Copy the "common" folder to "C:\Program Files (x86)\LG Electronics\LGUP\model"
8. Plug phone into Downloadmod.
9. Run "LGUP" from your start menu.
10. Select your Phone if see option.
11. For the "BIN File" select the "rootedsystemvs.tot" file you extracted in step 3.
12. You'll have root in about 3 minutes!

Didn't work here either (unbranded Danish version). Same error code. Invalid TOT file.

Andoid 6 is on the way for the LG V10. Do you know, will the phone get an update when it is rooted?

Lucky man...its course your using Softwareversion V10c regulary.

My decice uses V10a, so there is no official tot file from LG yet...

Mine is V10c-EUR-xx but it still fails on my end.
