Hey guys. Anyway to root android 7?

Unlock Bootloader at HTCDev

Fastboot flash TWRP

Mount /system read only and flash Magisk

I would recommend Magisk over SuperSU for numerous reasons. Enjoy.

And S-OFF is not needed for rooting. At least not if you have a Dev phone. If you cannot unlock the bootloader at HTCDev then you might have to spend the money.

Download : HTC_A9_FR_1.27.1020.15_Images_OTA.rar

adb tools : HTC Sync adb tools.rar

adb reboot download
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

Then you can got OTA to 1.56.1020.70

My question is my device is 1.10.401.7 and i need to root it by your thread so :

-First i need to unkock the bootloader
- download the supersu or superuser and reboot "adb reboot download" and get acces to option and then flash the su zip ?

I'm right ?

exist any ways to flash a recovery without PC?
long time ago the connector of my a9 are burned. now only works for charge battery (without boost)
I already have unlocked and S-off
but im stock android 7 and no root.
