I didn't... i clicked GRIND and it says the device is patched. after that, there is no where any option for the "brutforce" ... so i don't know.
thanks.

I think the problem is your build number... this update kicked in a few days back. I also have the same build number, though is the V10I AME XX version.
I hope theres a fix soon. I just got my phone and would like to root
I renamed the file and put it on the sd. But how do i enter recovery mode? I tried the power and volume down buttons. Please quote me so that if you have a respones i gwt the notification asap.
To clarify: do not format the external SD card with anything else than FAT32, otherwise it'll cause issues with plenty apps/roms (at least when trying out different roms frequently).Make sure the sdcard is formatted to ext2 and use adb to put your device into recovery with this command "adb reboot recovery"

IOroot was originally a Windows script to root the LG G2 on 4.2.2 made by IOMonster.
It was based on the original adb backdoor found by GiantPune and later posted by jcase.
The script has grown to support various other LG devices on Android 4.0 - 4.4.2...
Supported devices include LG Optimus G, G2, G3, G Pro, G Pro 2, G Flex and G Pad just to name a few.
