Though it has been answered, I found the answer a little hard to find, so I thought I'd add this. I just installed the New Zealand version of MM on my T810 and to root it I used Odin to flash the CF-Auto-Root found here. Though is indicates it's for 5.0.1 it worked on 6.0.1. Had to install TWRP again through Odin as this reset "recovery". Now I have both root and TWRP with MM on my T810 and 5g wifi is seeing the U.S. channels.

All that is required is to flash the latest supersu with twrp.
Just googled "latest supersu". There were so many different links I couldn't count them all. Would it be asking too much that when you give advice like that that you actually give a link to the "latest supersu"?

If I use "Odin to flash the CF-Auto-Root" will I lose all my apps and settings? I just updated to 6.0.1 mm with odin but now need to root.

Update: Nothing was lost!

Hi guys
I've just dit it but the result is not complete root. I can grant root acces to apps when supersu asks for it but this acces is not complete, even though it's supposed to. For example, any app can read wifi passwords right, even with permissions granted. Or another one, Solid Explorer can write on any folder on the sd card but Opera can't download to sd card... I guess it will be fixed sometime...
Thx anyway to anyone involved :)

That's nothing to do with root, those are app permission issues.
Those apps need to ask and be granted permission to write to storage.
If they don't request permission they won't get it, that's how mm works.
Apps that don't request aren't mm compatible.

Oops, I didn't know that ?. Thx for the answer ashyx.
By the way... Solid Explorer didn't ask for permissions, it's not in the supersu as a granted app but it is able to writte on any sd card folder. I Just give the info...

I don't mean supersu permissions.
Normal apps that want to write to storage will need permission to do so.

Go to app manager and look at the permissions for any app.

That's right. My mistake. The correct wifi passwords are hidden by Samsung. Opera though has the permission enabled but still can't write on th sd, I've just told them, let's see if they can do something about it. Thx ashyx
