You can create a separate partition in your sdcard for apps, link2sd will link your apps to that partition, you can try ext4 and ext3 partitions, read this

Dear sir..after i root my mobile , i change build.prop file without keeping backup or installing recovery app..now my mobile continue boot animation forever,..i can access stock recovery..is my mobile brick?! Can it be repaired?my mobile is canvas 2 colours micromax A120..
I m very new and its my first rooting experience..i already changed boot animation to xperia and i was trying to change the device model to xperia so that i can show off but now i m really scare..i think i mess up...i m really scare..plz help me

You have to flash this using spflash tool, first extract this then search google on how to use spflash, it's simple
Porting kitkat to canvas 2 colors
Is there anyway to port xolo q1010i 's kitkat rom to our canvas a120 colors??????i think xolo q1010i is almost same in specification (mt6782)

I already downloaded that, it's only an update zip, we need full rom.zip before trying
It's not stock but will work perfectly if you flash it correctly, just untick recovery.img in sptool

I really did not like the ring/notification tones that came with the A120. Besides, they are so few.
Luckily, I had some sounds collected over a year ago (mix of HTC, Samsung etc).
I would like to share them with you.
I don't remember where I got them from, but all thanks & credit to the original uploader(s).

Just unzip, and copy the 'media' folder to the root of your internal SD card (will work with external SD card too, please check).
**Note : Rooting is NOT required for this. **
Now, go to set the ringtone from 'settings' as usual, and you should see many new ringtones & notification tones.
If not, reboot, and check again.

What's scatter file
can you please tell me what is scatter file... When I Google about using sp tool they tall about scatter file. ..
That file contains the flashing paths/instructions for sp flashtool specific to our device
it say error 8038 ..After I follow all the instructions and right after the red bar it says error 8038 and even if I click download nothing happens. .
You should visit service centre then, they should fix it in 30mins or maybe if they want to replace PCB then 2 months

I did, and it rooted perfectly.

When i google the reason 4 error 8038 most form says its due to wrong scatter file or the particular version of sp flash tool not supported...this are the method i found
1.scatter file error can be fixed by changing some value(i dnt understand it well)but i m scare to change any value in system file..coz that what make my mobile bootloop..
2.using other version of sp tool...i havnt try it yet.i used 3.3 version of tool.
.can you plz tell me is it the right scatter file 4 my mobile or can i try downloading another rom?..

Download cwm recovery.img from 1st post and flash using sp tools, untick everything except recovery, if it's a sucess then boot into recovery and flash any rom
