Top reduce lag in your *rooted* A120, install Seeder.

Note : this is for rooted phones only.

It's available paid from Playstore :

Another useful app I discovered is 'copy to clipboard'.

The A120 is missing the very useful 'clipboard' item when you try to share anything (Samsung devices have it). This app integrates with the share context menu, so you can copy to clipboard links, text etc via the Share context menu and then paste them elsewhere.
Fit example, I'm using it to share this link from the Playstore app :

Does the lag occur when actually playing the video?

I usually play my videos at 240 or 360 pixels and did not notice any noticeable lag.

Maybe it is at higher resolutions ?

Edit : the apk you recommended is an older version of YouTube.
What could be the reason why the new version should lag instead of improving?

Boty HQ and HD lags in the new youtube, try it on any mt6582 phone with 4.2.2, but the older youtube can play them without any lag

It's perfect, camera settings are bit wrong, just change them after flashing, zero shutter delay is enabled which makes camera laggy, just disable that

I assume you had rooted your phone prior to using mobile uncle?

Warranty issue

I purchased this phone one month ago. I want to root it and install custom roms. But my concern is, if I root my phone then take back up of the original rom with CWM recovery and after some time reinstall the original rom and unroot then will I be able to claim warranty?

Service people are quite dumb, if you unroot stock rom and delete busybox and supersu they won't even ask you about root but if they see that your phone has different ROM/BOOT animation then they will refuse

Stock Recovery for Micromax Canvas 2 A120 Colours

Hello Every one,

Here is the stock recovery for Micromax Canvas 2 A120 Colours:angel:.

Flash it with Mobile Uncle for FOTA Kitkat update (when available). Do remember to unroot your A120 after flashing this recovery and before checking for update.

You can always restore your CWM backup to return back to your previous setup and if you want to unroot, open framaroot app and select unroot, and i will post the stock recovery later

Voice command using bluetooth headset on Colours A120

Hello Everyone,

I am using re-store RS-E100 with my Micromax Canvas 2 Colours A120 and am facing some issues with Voice dialing.

I am using an application Bluetooth launch and have linked the click on my Bluetooth headset to com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox.VoiceSearchActivity.

When I click the end/ answer key on my Bluetooth headset for the 1st time (or after reboot), it works like charm; however when i finish up a call and then try to bring up the Voice command window for the next time, it never comes up until I reboot.

I am not sure what is the reason for this issue and would appreciate any help rendered.

inverted camera?

I installed the Myphone stock rom v.1.17 you posted from page 1. Everything works well, except that the camera is inverted. Does any body else have this problem? I tried fixing this by rebooting, turning on auto rotate screen, compass calibration, but nothing seems to be working.. Can somebody help me out? The bug is really annoying!
