- Xperia Sola
- Xperia Ion

== Download Flashtool with full Xperia 2012 line support ==
- XDA Fileserver: Xperia 2012 Flashtool support

Here you can find prerooted system.img files for the Sony Xperia 2012 models, you can only use this with an unlocked bootloader!
== Download prerooted system.img ==
- Xperia U: Xperia U XDA Fileserver
- Xperia Sola: Xperia Sola XDA Fileserver
- Xperia P: Xperia P XDA Fileserver
- Xperia S: Xperia S XDA Fileserver Mine is "KA_Xperia_S_prerooted"

These are the original or official .FTF firmware files they are all non-branded
== Download original .FTF Firmware ==
- Xperia U: Xperia U XDA Fileserver
- Xperia Sola: Xperia Sola XDA Fileserver
- Xperia P: Xperia P XDA Fileserver
- Xperia S: Xperia S XDA Fileserver Mine is "KA_6.0.A.3.73_Generic"

1. Unlock your bootloader via Sony website
2. Download and unpack the prerooted system.img
3. Flash it via fastboot: "fastboot flash system system_prerooted.img"

1. Download and unpack the original firmware
2. Download the Flashtool from XDA Fileserver and unpack it
3. Copy it to C:/ and overwrite all your Flashtool files
4. Flash the ftf with Flashtool
5. Reboot and enjoy :)

== Installation of boot animations ==
1. Copy the bootanimation.zip to /system/media

Ok, I'll add the stock firmware .FTF later ;)

EDIT: It flashes successfully via fastboot on my Xperia S so I don't think anything is wrong :D
But I can't test it because it wont boot on my XS of course :p

Yes, I'm sorry switched the 564 with 654 :D

Hi,
Any change in the notification light bar operation found??

What does this have to do with a prerooted system.img?

And I uploaded a v2 :) Removed some bloatware ;)

I don't know if you have seen it but I added a download link for "Flashtool with Xperia U support" ;)

And I'm talking with someone who has an unlocked Xperia U, when he wants to flash it fastboot says "remote download size too large"

Don't know if it will work for you, but it's a pretty weird error since the system partition should be big enough

well im trying to unlock it rite now.... it wont stay on fastboot mode ( volume up + plug usb)...... or is it volume down + usb? volume down was what i used to update the phone via seus....when i press volume up, the light strip turns blue for a second or two, but then goes into charging while shutdown mode.... when i try with volume up it turns green and stays like that...

It needs to turn blue and stay blue with screen off ;)
Did you check in service menu if bootloader unlock is allowed on your device?

It means you can't unlock your Xperia S unless you find a way to remove simlock I think.

Btw: is there anyone else that can upload Xperiu U ftf or seus files?

Thanks a ton. That would be wonderful :)

    Tapatalk-ed from Xperia U

It won't be easy to make that work since no method to root without a prerooted system.img or auto-root kernel has been out yet for Xperia S etc ;)

EDIT: I'm going to upload a working system.img soon :) thx to enigma77x for helping me ;)

as far as i know you must not add simlock.ta and partition-image.sin

simlock.ta should not be added correct! partition-image.sin is supported by latest flashtool version! So if you use latest you can flash good ;)
