Thanks - I looked there earlier and somehow missed it - probably because it was 2 AM.
Everything was Ok until I tried to restore everything with oneplus switcher. I had a recent backup on the SD Card so moved it back to internal SD, but oneplus switch wouldn't work correctly.

Its an updated version - previous on had worked ok - as usual with oneplus updates.

Just for my info: if i follow the initial guide to survive OTA:
How to survive OTA:

  1. Disable automatic update in developer options
  2. In Magisk Manager choose uninstall > restore image - DON'T REBOOT
  3. Now do the OTA update - DON'T REBOOT
  4. in Magisk Manager select install > to inactive slot
  5. reboot now! the stock image is backed up to /data/root/magisk*
my data will be deleted ?
I ask bcz i never made it before, i never did an Android update on a OnePlus device..

I used this tutorial and successfully applied OTA on rooted Nokia 8.3 and regained root afterwards

10.5.14.BE86AA Ota is out, any idea where I can get the firmware to patch the boot?
