I don't know if you can, but you can easily upgrade to OF1 using the latest firmware

estoy intentando cambiar la rom pero no puedo ya que necesito un recovery para lollipop 5.0 podrian decirme que recovery puedo utilizar, (el CMW no funciono)

Not recovery, only flashfire or safestrap, el custom recovery es para unlock bootloader no para root equipment

Ya lo mencionó @EdrickMG la única forma es por medio de Flash Fire, pero la verdad el note 3 en Verizon solo tiene el Jasmine Rom (creo) , si yo pudiera regresaría a 4.4.2 lo haría sin pensarlo ,extraño safestrap.

1- Download this program to your computer.

2- Turn on your device go to settings and open Developer options.
3- In developer options enable USB debugging.
4-Go to your computer and open the program that you downloaded
5- connect your device to your computer and click "Scan" on the one click root program.
6- If the program finds your device, just relax and enjoy root when it's done.

This program works on windows 8 and 10
That's it!!!
