###Onward

Special thanks to -viperboy- for putting his Prime on the line during testing, and Hawkysoft for convincing me to look in the first place.

*Edit*
Due to requests and complaints of limitations of taking donations via market apps, I have added the donate button.
Be clear, donations are not "promises" of future work, just a thank you for past. Funds go to devices, kickbacks to my kids, and leftovers to charity of my choice.

If you want to donate to my "buy jcase more tablets fund' you can buy my donate app here:
https://market.android.com/details?id=net.andirc.jcasedonate

If you want to donate EVEN MORE you can buy my other apps here:

Top news but can't adb into tf suspect its conflicting with pdanet I use for other composite drivers (albeit I am already rooted this is an overall annoyance I am having so I suspect there will be others in the same predicament) .

Sent from my Nexus S using xda premium

Different "roots"

RazorClaw is patched in newer, NachoRoot is not.

RazorClaw is much cleaner, but NachoRoot works fine

cannot stat 'su' : No such file or directory

Certain place the su.txt should be placed?

Got it now.. The superuser from the download site pulls up as a .txt file.. Downloaded su from another source and now have root on Transformer BBO serial number which is just a few months old
Awesome job!

    4 noobs like me!

N00B question here, I've downloaded the nachoroot.bin and su files. But i'm not sure if I have to place them in a certain folder on my computer. Currently they're in my downloads folder.

    They can stay there!
Connect your transformer to PC USB (transformer in debbuging mode),
Run Windows Command Prompt and type "adb devices" (with no quote) and click "enter".
As answer of that command, You should see a serial number pop up, it’s the serial number of your phone. This means you are all set!
Then you can just begin to type the commands from the first post (click "enter" at the end of each line and wait for the answer. But no metter what answer, just type the commands, line by line, in order, exactly like in post 1).
You can copy and paste the text (do not need to retype the commands).
I hope this can help you and other noobs like us. :)

I thought that was only for unbricking? Where would I find the rooting instructions? I only see instructions to unbrick.

Yeah it for flashing a rooted rom also. Just need to have a NVFlash compatible ROM.
Go here and watch the video to get an idea of how it work.

Rooted with vipermod, having Superuser app installed but the recovery app said sorry, u are not rooted... :V any ideas?

Randomly using roots for other devices isn't all that good of an idea.

    I've got my root back!

I lost root when updated to US_epad-8.6.5.21 firmware.
Tried many other procedures to get my root back, but no success... until I tried your solution! :D
Now I'm back! Thank you VERY MUCH, jcase!
Hoping to help someone, probably beginers like me, I recomend to folow this excelent tutorial from TheUnlockr: http://theunlockr.com/2009/10/06/how-to-set-up-adb-usb-drivers-for-android-devices/.
If helps, please click "Thanks" (can be my first! Rsssss!) :D
