Hi guys, following this device development since a couple months,
Really interested in buying this device costs around 72k indian rupees.

So is their active ROM development for this device, I understood root is working from this thread.

I have not seen even lineage os or aosp rom available for this, so is this rom having any developers creating roms or official rom support?
Want to buy this but don't want to waste money on another phone.

Any info is helpful, thanks for your time.

I have zero issues with it. Ever.
With win 11?

Lol c'mon man..they changed everything that made windows windows, right click status bar for task manager, gone, start button in middle?

All context menus changed and useless, menu advertisments.

Heavy tracking, worse gaming, worse stamina, memory leaks, lol dude it's a beta at best.... A true turd of an OS.

Sure, they changed things. No complaints about stability or performance, and that includes gaming with my 3080 Ti (if I had a problem with this, I would have switched). It's been way better for me than Windows 10 was and I've been running it since release day.

I ran ShutUp 10 a few weeks back to remove all the tracking crap but it really wasn't bugging me. The worst thing for me was the removal of the ability to drag and drop between apps using the taskbar but I adjusted to it.

Ah it's not for me man, it's a step back. I'm normally an early adopter.

I had way more issues with early 10 releases than I have with 11. Most of my gripes about 11 have to do with them changing things that I've used for years (and years and years) but I don't have any gripes about the performance and I've never even gotten a BSOD or had the system freeze, both of which 10 was prone to do from time to time. That's why I'm always confused when you tell people to ditch 11. It's not another Windows ME in my experience.

I haven't had a BSOD on win 10, I like it mate, I won't switch up, definitely not yet, I think the writings on the wall for win 11.

Have a little look at this. It's quite damning.

Saves me having a rant..

Each to their own anyway 👍🏻

I just got my unlock bin for my T-Mobile variant today and am itching to BL unlock this thing, but before I do so, I was wondering if anyone has seen fastboot ROMs for this model? I know I can reflash the stock boot in case I need to unroot, but it'd be nice to have the option to do a complete restore, for peace of mind. Or maybe an ADB/fastboot command to back those up myself?

But you can find some full OTA (payload.bin) from OnePlus Server here:

I found the latter page before when searching, but there aren't rollback images for the T-Mobile (NE2217) variant.

That's the unlocked NA (ie, non-T-Mobile) variant, isn't it? Has anyone verified this? I would liked to have converted to the global ROM but so far I don't see a way to do it, so the 2213 might be a good alternative.
Personally don't test it, but I see here (XDA Forum) some users report that NE2213 is compatible with T-Mobile
The convert method is easy
Just download OPLocalUpdate app + NE2213 Full OTA ROM and install it.

Flash the stock boot.img.

NEVER flash a patched boot.img. Simply boot it with

Code:
fastboot boot magisk_patched_xxxx.img

"magisk_patched_xxxx.img" being the patched boot.img, THEN load Magisk and install it from the app.

    Hello everyone.
Instructions for root Oneplus 10 Pro Color OS - Oxygen OS.
    1. Open Settings on your OnePlus 10 Pro and go to the ‘About Phone’ option.
Look for the Build Number and tap 7-8 times on it. It will display ‘You are now a developer.’
Go back to the main Settings then go to System > Developer Options.
    2. In Developer Options, you need to enable OEM Unlocking & USB Debugging
    3. Connect phone to PC and choice transfer file.
    4. Start adb and write adb reboot bootloader
    5. Unlock bootloader (fastboot flashing unlock)
    6. Need patched boot color os or Oxygen OS
    7. Then fastboot boot boot (magisk).img
    8. Start system
    9. Install latest magisk canary and tap to install automatically.
    10. Excellent
Download: Repo AFH (Color - Oxygen OTA-Kernel) Mega Repo (Color - Oxygen Kernel)

Ps. Of course, you must have the correct drivers installed adb (Google to the rescue)
    UPD: Install drivers
    • Open Settings > Windows Update > Advanced options > Optional updates > see drivers when device connected

What the different between, boot, fasyboot, boatloader, flash, Rom,fastboot boot, and every words you write?
Is rom the software for EU or global version?
Do i need to change color os to oxygen os?

    1. Boot - to boot up / start the system /. Start with one thing / choose something to start with / to boot.

    2. Bootloader - the bootloader is the place you need to be and to have in order to boot anything, also the pre operating system where you can alter options before the OS.

    3. Flash - to flash eg: an image, differently to booting, to flash is to change a partition permanently until flashed again, booting is singular, it will not survive a reboot, flashing will survive, if the image is correct then it'll work, if anything goes wrong then it'll fail and unlike booting it'll remain failed.

    4. ROM - read only memory, or in our case the ROM is the image that you use in order to replace an operating system, it houses all the content and images in an encrypted format or firmware that we require in order to flash a phone/tablet/computer, all architectures require an OS.

    5. Fastboot - similar to the bootloader, fastboot is a protocol used in order to affect the already established operating system via a pre operating system environment, it's from here you would use the vast majority of commands used in today's rooting and unlocking procedures.

    6. ROM isn't specific it's a piece of code in a structure you cannot change against how it was intended, hence read ONLY memory.

    7. ADB - android debug bridge (you didn't ask for this but it's a huge part of Android) adb can be used to install apps, remove apps, delete files, add files, it's here you learn the OS and it's file structure, you'd never know program files lived in the C drive is you didn't look, adb let's you push and pull, install, uninstall from this time structure from your computer, I can't emphasize enough how important this is, it ties into everything.

Most of this can be found on Google mate, I would have thought.

I answered all this from the top of my head, maybe some of this may have altered, but it's pretty accurate id say.

OK ok, i got it working, the bootloader unlock i mean.
The problem was my computer, reinstalled drivers and platform tools and now i had it unlocked with 'fastboot flashing unlock' command.
