[ROOT ONLY] AA AIO TWEAKER - The ultimate Android Auto Utility

Heya!

New version of AA AIO TWEAKER (version 5.2.0) is live on GitHub and brings the following changes:

• DELETED: Option to pre-activate the custom seating option has been removed as merged into AA
• DELETED: Casting app as it was deleted from AA
• UPDATED: Option for activating Coolwalk has been updated with new logic and new features merged
• UPDATED: Logic for the app patching
• ADDED: Option to pre-activate Assistant suggestions on top of AA's launcher
• ADDED: Option for adding a custom link shortcut to Android Auto. It is a left over of Android Auto's Easter Egg which includes full webview which actually goes full screen too. No back button and no keyboard support though.
• ADDED: Option to pre-activate message auto-read.
• UPDATED: Translations

Tried it on AA 8.6 and the new coolwalk implementation works well. Thanks for your efforts on helping us customize AA over the years!

As AA Extras is no longer being updated (another great customization tool), I've been looking for a way to reduce the size of the icons in the rail (and the app "drawer"). Is there a way to add dpi customization to AIO Tweaker? Or allow the rail to be changed from horizontal to vertical layout?

Thanks for your new release, @shmykelsa! Unfortunately on my Pixel 7 Pro with the rooted stable stock January 2023 firmware, 5.2.0 of the app FC's on me. I was on 5.0.2 previous to this, which worked. I wiped cache and app data but it didn't make any difference.

Is there information or logs you want that I could provide to help?

Edit: I forgot to mention, it FC's immediately after I click the I Understand button, after the timer runs out.

3 boxes on top of home screen that will make you launch specific suggested Asisstant shortcuts.

Extras For AA has been dropped in developement since Substratum stopped properly supporting Android since Android 11. With people shifting to Android 13, and Android 11 being massively rolled out by now, it's just not sustainable to mantain Substratum themes too. I'd suggest ODB2AA for DPI changing.

Here it is. Thanks for taking a look when you can. There was some activity for the app in the log before I launched the app, and it FC'd after I clicked "I Understand", again. Earlier, I had additionally tried uninstalling, reinstalling, and re-giving root permissions with no change in behavior.

My UI looks kinda like this Screenshot. Is this "share arrival time" also the assistant suggestions or is it something different if I activate the feature?

Edit: Nevermind, tested it out. It is different, thanks tho!

On aa 8.6.6.25054-release (i'm in French country) Android 9 minimal root on samsung s8+

I can not force the bar in vertical left, currently it is at the bottom which in my C4 picasso 2 12' reduces considerably the display ...

I tried to click on "Force wide screen" but it doesn't work. I already managed to have the bar on the right but temporarily.

In the database I have several similar entries, the one that concerns me is the one with my "user" which is an email, maybe this is the problem of "force wide screen"?

So I don't have coolwalk anymore but I do have the forced widescreen display

Tapping "I understand" loads the main activity which at first checks for current values in the database but there was no control whether they exist or not. Somehow your OS was picky about it and throws error but this build fixes this.

5.20 work ,but my phone not turn 90degree and car unit become black after press the s2auto icon.

Hi. Download the app, install it, run it and read what it says. As instructed in the app, if you have any questions about what an option does in the app, long-press it and it will explain a little. Some more is explained about some options, or linked to explanations, in the OP. If you have any specific questions that long-pressing an option and reading the OP doesn't answer, let us know what those questions are.
