Root randomly disappeared? Devices unrooted itself!

So I unrooted the thing recently and all was working great. I looked at it today and certain apps weren't operating correctly. Superuser is still there but does nothing. It didn't auto update and I haven't even rebooted it until today (of course this doesn't mean that it might not have rebooted on its own.)

It's just kind of a pain having to do it again. Anyone know why this may have happened?

Did you use Odin to return to stock? Super user shouldn't be there If you did it right.

Chainfire put out v1.80. Reroot with Odin using CF-Autoroot then install the new SuperSU from PlayStore. Read the change log on SuperSU and know it's nothing to worry about. And if you can, support Chainfire by going Pro (SuperSU Pro).

I didn't do anything with Odin to return to stock. I did boot up my laptop with windows on it so I could use Odin to root it though (such a pain that I couldn't get Heimdal to work.)

As far as Super Su I've used that and both ChainsDD and ClockworkMod's Superuser. I much prefer CWM's simply because of this statement which I strongly agree with:

"* Superuser should be open source. It's the gateway to root on your device. It must be open for independent security analysis. Obscurity (closed source) is not security."

Still have Super Su installed but it was disabled. Re-enabled it and nothing, rebooted and not surprisingly nothing. Guess I'll have to fire up the windows system again.

You will have to run Odin with either the 4.3 leak one click or the official stock files to return to stock and unroot. If you want 4.3 just use the leak. It works good and you will receive official OTA
