Okay will try factory resetting
If factory reset doesn't work, then try flashing with Asus flash tool, but make sure you have the right raw firmware for your device (i can provide) otherwise you might brick the device.

Hi. How can i Successfully install my USB Drivers? Thank you.
If you have the drivers already download, connect device to pc in bootloader mode (csc mode), then go to device manager and you should see a yellow mark indicating your device without drivers>right click on it >update>let me choose from installed drivers on pc or something similar> browse for the folder were you have the downloaded drivers and that should be it. So anytime u connect device in bootloader mode, it will show something "android bootloader interface" or similar.

This doesn't address your problem.Well i guess you are right on track. Just wipe data as mentioned in the post from twrp, then flash the root file. Then reboot the system.Note:volume down + power button is meant to take you into the recovery and not reboot.

I haven't faced much problem with installing custom rom. Hope you haven't flashed a rom that is not meant for your device model(in which case i don't know much what to do).Try a complete wipe and flash your rom again. And i hope there weren't any error in the log after flashing.I personally am using AIM rom v2.5 (for zf max sd615) and is quite bug free.

Hello,

Is it resolved yet bro? I have the same issue. tried TWRP 3.0.2, 3.0.3 and 3.1.1, but no use...

"target reported max download size of 268435456 bytes
sending 'recovery' (17836 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.563s]
writing 'recovery'...
OKAY [ 0.218s]
finished. total time: 0.812s"

Then after restart if I hold volume down then it stops at Asus logo. If not goes to normal boot. I have left it for more than 30 mins, still at Asus logo. But am able to get to stock recovery, which is of no use to install custom ROM. :(
