Give a feedback, although its going to work, its a special version compiled by 4pda.ru guys for the 2/32Gb version of the device, since some people encounter problems like yours.

What does he mean by modem?

All CM/Lineage based ROMS can only be flashed from a marshmallow based. It will not work if you are on lollipop

Twrp nott working

Twrp loades but it takes so much time and it is not able to mount any partition...and i am unable to install any roms I am running on stock marshmallow beta firmware....please anyone help me

flashing TWRP: problem with devices with only "csc" mode (no normal Fastboot Mode)

En los zc550kl sin el modo fastboot normal, el dispositivo deja de responder a los comandos tras pasar el dispositivo al modo "csc" al introducir en la ventana de comandos "adb reboot bootloader"

yo he conseguido instalarle el twrp así:
Iinstalo los drivers oficiales de asus para flashearle el software al zc550kl
ejecuto el archivo Qualcomm_USB_Driver_V1.0.exe
al hacerlo hay dos opciones de instalación y elijo "ETHERNET(NDIS 5.1) Drivers"
he descargado el recovery TWRP EN UNA CARPETA DE WINDOWS

En el móvil, en las "opciones de desarrollo" "Depuración por USB": "SÍ" y en "Seleccionar configuración de USB": "RNDIS (USB Ethernet)"

con el móvil encendido en modo normal lo conecto al usb del pc
entro desde windows a la carpeta donde tengo el recovery, dentro de la carpeta presiono shift y botón derecho del ratón, selecciono "Abrir ventana de comandos aquí"
introduzco los comandos:

adb reboot bootloader
(el teléfono entra al modo csc)

fastboot reboot-bootloader
(rebooting into bootloader...)

Fastboot flash recovery TWRP-3.0.2-0.img

(o como quiera que se llame tu archivo del recovery)
(con esto queda instalado el TWRP)
es muy importante que al reiniciar el teléfono lo hagas directamente al modo recovery o de lo contrario no quedará instalado TWRP


A mi me ha funcionado y tal vez sea útil para alguien más.

How can i install twrp in lollipop. I have z010d but i gaved it to service center and those guys degraded it from marshmallow to lollipop.

Q: I installed SuperSU 2.67 from this guide. But in google play it says the latest supersu is 2.79. Also, I keep getting prompted by SuperSU that the su binary needs to be updated. What should I do here?

I tried to select 'cleanup to reinstall from google play' but now when I go to install SuperSU from google play, I get error:

SuperSU cannot be installed. (error code -505)

edit: should I just stick with SuperSU pro 2.67 or attempt to install/flash SuperSU pro 2.79 via recovery? I bought the pro license a couple of years ago.

im always stuck on adb window <waiting for device> nothing happens
usb debugging is already on got to many drivers that I installed including the asus drivers, qualcomm drivers, adb drivers etc.
already unlock my bootloader by the official asus app it just restarted my phone w/o any data being erased (is it normal?)
im using windows 10 laptop
my phone is zenfone max z010d 32GB SD410 2gb RAM running on MM lastest firmware 6.0.1 build WW_13.8.26.76_20161230
i tried to detect my device using the adb while the phone is connected (normal turned on)by the command "adb devices"
it detects my phone and show its code numbers/letters
then I reboot it to fastboot by entering command "adb reboot bootloader" then it reboots into CSC mode
then I tried detecting it by command "fastboot devices" nothing shows
I also tried directly flashing it. "fastboot flash recovery <name of twrp.img>"
it just shows "<waiting for device>" then nothing happens
PLEASE HELP thank you in advance
