Anyone here has a fix for the audio volume? The max volume is so low with earphones on, compared to my old zf5.

Please help me for root my Asus zenfone max ZC550KL. My variant is WW and I tried to root as follows YouTube video guide, in fastboot mode, first I erased system partition without error then I entered flash command for system.img as follows, 'fastboot flash system system.img' but not flashing and error message shown 'can't load system.img : no error'. But system.img file already copied in folder.

but the method given in main of unroting and aplying updates and again reroot not working.. version change to previous. can anybody give fresh system.img for this version which is pre rooted..:good:

you notice some improvement in RAM gestion? i have a bug on my Max and it eat her RAM constantly ( is a Android 5.0.2 related bug )

Nice. I have also managed to apply root + twrp + xposed framework + dolby atmos on my Max.

Root Zenfone Max and instal Xposed still keep update version
Here is the way to root more easily and still keep the update version of Zenfone Max. for those whom methos of hpnhannghia not working. remember to hold power and volume down key simultaneously in CSC mode . do not give reboot command. may be its temporary recovery.

Make sure you have enough space on your SD Card to do a complete backup first, then do a factory reset on the phone.
Extract the downloaded .7z to your pc then open the folder. Shift + Right Click to open a command prompt. Put the phone into bootloader (vol up + power) then type "flashall_AFT WW_ZC550KL_V13.8.26.15_M3.1.39_Phone-user.raw" on the command prompt.
Wait for it to finish, and voila, you have upgraded to Android M.
