I tested saferoot on the s975L from straight talk and it installed without issue. I did a nandroid backup without issue. Not sure on installing roms yet, but it is a start :D I created a post in unified android development stating the result. I hope this will lead to development for this phone.
That's Great, hopefully it will--:good:

I'm moving over to T-Mobile from AT&T, and downloaded their most current stock ROM.
From what I understand I need to make sure there is no Modem file in the new ROM and then use ODIN to flash it. Is this correct?

Thanks,

I don't know. But I think you'll need to be sim unlocked and you'll still need to flash roms for at&t. To sim unlock flash the mf3 modem in safestrap and then use regionlockaway

Did anyone get get *ware from using the download link?

Clicking either the orange or blue download link from http://d-h.st/qlC brings you to a page with a popup that says "Click OK to download"

It downloaded a .jar.exe, after running it I've started getting popups like crazy. Maybe I mis-clicked an option in the installer but a developer having such an option would be dishonest at best, I don't want to lay blame on the dev though.

Two Chrome extensions keep getting injected and enabled without my permission, prompting the popups almost literally every time I click something on a webpage, very annoying.

One of the extensions is called "unisaleS" and the other is something to the effect of "unnisalles"

e* I uninstalled any remnants of it, and also ran NOD32/MSE and find nothing, but it still keeps coming back.

Dev host is a terrible download site. Very deceptive. There are multiple download links one of them is the actual file you want. The others put malware on your device.

No, it looks like you have a 9505g. There's a whole forum for your device.

I don't think the model number is the real one because I have a GPE rom (super nexus) rom installed on my phone. But I think what determines the compatibility is the NI1.

Missed something?

Hey folks,

Ran through the program, it brought me up in what I believe was "recovery mode". I selected to reboot, and then came up in normal mode, but maybe I am missing something.
Here is the Pastbin: http://pastebin.com/g1g3PgQC

After the program completed, it states to "Install Superuser". Searching in the forums, I find reference to ChainDD's version (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=682828), find it in App store, installed it.
I then looked for a program to check that the phone is rooted. Again, Finding "Simple Root Checker" (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2472076) I installed that program. When I run it, it tells me "Application Superuser not found", "Terminal does not Rooted", "Busybox not installed".

Where did I go wrong? The phone is completely usable, just would appear not to be rooted. Suggestions?

Thanks,

Greech

It looks like you're on.nj4 firmware. Motochopper isn't going to work for you.
