Since the bootloader is locked again and it stills senses an unsigned partition (recovery) it gives that security warning. When you unlock again, it should get rid of that warning.
Thanks for that! I just RUU'd it back to stock, but I'll MAKE SURE to mention that unlocking it again, (while you have the security warning) lets you get back into the system! :)

Here's an update to everyone looking for a new release. In the next release, there will only be minor code fixes, but these minor fixes should eliminate some of the problems everyone is facing. I've already updated it for the HTCdev website weirdness (refreshing a bunch of times), and I'm currently looking into the NOT An Evo 4G LTE thing. Also, just a few minor code touch ups, and then I'll get a new version out. Oh, also I figured out a cool way to embed AndroidLib (my android .NET library I wrote) into this exe and load it at runtime, so there will no longer be a zip to download and extract, just 1 exe.

Freaking awesome!! Thanks for all your hard work. Just used your tool last night and it worked like a charm!! When you release your new version will we just have to run the stocl RUU and then do the process all over to get the updates??

Upon double clicking the .exe files, I get "Necessary HTC driver files are missing. Please get drivers by installing HTC Sync, or directly with the driver zip (advanced)"

Before downloading your program, I downloaded and installed the HTC drivers you have linked in the OP (HTCDriver3.0.0.007) and the .NET framework (though I already had 4). I tried rebooting my PC, just to see if something needed to take effect or something. Same problem. So I downloaded HTC Sync and installed it. Rebooted. Same problem. If I go into my Program Files->HTC->HTC Driver->Driver Files->Win7_x64 they are clearly there..... Any ideas?

Windows 7 x64
i2500k CPU/8G RAM/SSD
Check for the existence of C:\Windows\system32\drivers\ANDROIDUSB.sys or C:\Windows\syswow64\drivers\ANDROIDUSB.sys
I'm having the same drivers issue.

Also, I don't see the ANDROIDUSB.sys where you said to look. I did click, download, and run both links in your post.

Help?

Upon checking Start menu -> Program Files ->HTC -> HTC Driver, the only thing in it is "Uninstall HTC Driver". There isn't anything else there. Does that mean the drivers aren't getting installed properly?

One more thing: This happened on two different computers. :(

Nah, unless you want to do the exact same thing again. This is just an update so it will work with less problems, does the exact same thing though.

worked great for me no issues at all....

the first time I tried to enter recovery the phone rebooted..went back in again and the recovery popped right up..The same thing happened on qbking77's video on youtube.. the recovery must need a reboot to install?? not sure but everything is all good!!

now on to the registering process :D

I have a quick question about this rooting process. Will it replace my OS or will it patch my OS to be rooted? Like my Galaxy Tab 7+ I just had to laod a zip file and it didn't require me to replace the OS.

Plus, will I be able to update the OS too after the root?

Just so there's no confusion, I have both the media sync and disk drive options.
Now that a some weird ****!! I have no such option. Nowhere in my pop up is disk drive available. This has me a bit weirded out now. How the hell did you get that?! Hell, I still can't get xp to see my device. Drivers work for everything else. If anyone on xp has an idea, I'd love to hear.

I've been debating to root since RegawMod was released. Tonight i finally took the plunge! Thanks regaw_leinad for your work on this, and for those that made the video tutorials. Watching the videos encouraged me to go for it. :D All is working, now to turn into a flashaholic once again! lol
