Can't help you then man. It works for everyone else. Sorry.
Even when I try and do the one in the op htcdev error on the email. That's why I went to htcdev too see if I could do it that way and it says the token is to short. I think I need to redo my SDK again. Not haven my phone rooted is really bugging me. My phones have been unlocked/rooted for the past 7 years. I'll figure it out on my own guess. Thank u tho.

Do I need to rename the .IMG file for fastboot or no for the recovery? I read all 3 pages and it didn't say anything about. The reason I'm asking is because on my og EVO I had to rename it.

you don't have to rename the .img file. but you can if you want.

these are the exact instructions from TWRPs installation page:

Download the above file into your platform-tools dir. Turn off your device. Turn on the device and keep holding volume down until a menu shows up. Select fastboot from the menu list. Plug the device into your computer. If you have the right drivers installed, your screen should now say FASTBOOT USB. Run the following command via the command line:

fastboot flash recovery recoveryfilename.img

Note that you will need to change the last part to match the name of the file that you just downloaded. This method requires that you have the drivers installed that come with the HTC Sync software that are available here. You will also need adb and fastboot for your computer.

go here and read: http://unlimited.io/jewel.htm

WARNING: You have a VERY REAL chance of bricking your device if you don't do exactly what is written there. I take 0 responsibility for this if it happens.

Also you need to know: the "root.zip" is the same one used in this automatic tool. It only flashes busybox and superuser. There is NO WAY it could have changed your hboot. Nor could it have removed your s-off. There is only TWO ways to change your hboot: RUU or OTA . If you don't know what you're doing I strongly suggest you not attempt to obtain s-off on your own.

Roms fail to Boot

Rooted phone with regaw mod. through goo manager when i tried to download roms i would get download error. 2 weeks later for some reason i was able to download cm and fresh roms. Still showing error when downloading gapps. When i flash roms i get to HTC screen and then it goes black. Phone is still on but black screen as i can still see it lit up but black. Root checker shows it fully rooted. Any suggestions?

Updated to version 4.0 today. This should have ironed out the reboot issues and the HTCdev.com issues. Right now HTCdev.com is a little bit slow, just due to their server, but if you're patient and let it do it's thing, it will work.
cool beans!! nice to see this updated.. i remember when i used this tool when it first came out.. helped me out big time.. did all the work for me :good: thanks regaw_leinad

By this, are you referring to Powerslave's message, or this thread?
Lol I saw the question post as the first one of the thread(idk why). So I assumed that was a question thread. xD
