Thank you sire! Worked like a charm on my Galaxy S4 Mini GT-I9192 4.2.2 Brazillian MK4 with kernel 3.4.0

Just a few observations:

After allowing busybox instalation, the process goes smoothly until it reaches the point when it tries to disable KNOX automatically, but in my case it just remained in this phase until I got bored and closed the cmd, unplugged and rebooted manually my device. After manual reboot that I got to run Super Su and install the binaries and got asked about disabling KNOX, thus finishing the rooting process.

Thanks a lot!

I need a help.
My steps:
- install TWRP to full wipe and format internal storage (not sure its good choice),
- Use odin to install latest 4.3. firmware available for my country,
- use saferoot procedure with any errors happened.

results:
custom binary download: yes (1 counts),
current binary: samsung official,
system status: custom,
knox warranty void: 1
ap swrev: a2

Can you help with it?
Whats other steps i need to make to fully wipe and bring firmware to original status with no warranty issue?

Flashing a custom recovery probably caused the Knox-bit to change from 0 to 1 and according to current knowledge this is irreversible. In EU-countries this doesn't necessarily void the guarantee on the hardware.

Why are you rooting it again?

Maybe you can revert the system status back to official. Maybe by flashing the stock recovery, but I'm no expert for this.
But since you now have Knox status 1 anyway you can experiment freely.

Thx for tips.
At the moment i reinstal stock recovery and made Triangle App work - Custom: No (finaly),
But Knox flag is still 1.
Like you said - in UE i should dont worry about that counter?

Now i try to unroot phone from Super SU (full unroot and cleaning) and reinstal firmware by odin again to have clear ROM on the board.

Once the Knox flag is set, you're stuck.
Some have claimed that they were able to get that cleared by the customer support people at VZ, but I find that pretty unlikely.
You've burned the fuse, and there's no way to un-do that physical damage and reset it.

If it's Android 4.3, you can certainly give Saferoot a try as it's likely to work and won't do anything if it doesn't work.
As has been said over and over, this won't set the Knox Warranty Void flag (which is often inaccurately referred to as "trip Knox".)

Kingo? As far as I know, that's still closed-source, opaque software. Discussion of it is banned on XDA.

If saferoot wont. Cf would be second choice. Then towelroot. Anything but malware..
To be fair, nobody's ever demonstrated that Kingo or Vroot are actually malware. But you're right: there's almost never a reason to use them given that there are open, trustworthy rooting methods.

I'm trying to install 4.4. I ran the unroot.bat file and did full unroot from SuperSU. I'm still getting the custom flag.

Is this because I used titanium backup to freeze or delete applications? I don't have Knox on my phone at all.

System restore the phone back to default and try again?

Is there a place I can download 4.4 and update through Kies? It's a pain to wait 45min to download the update from ATT, only for it to fail and have to re-download later.

So you have unrooted. But not done a fr yet? Have not had to do this for any reason. But from what I read. You would have to fr on phone to get rid of custom. ?
