confirmed on s3 miniThis exploit has already been patched by december updated kernel (of ML1 build) and no longer works on our S4 Mini....

it seems the OTA server detects that my phone is modified
Restart the device and try again .... if u accepted the update for security policies app then its too late

my phone isnt visible to the root script, it stalls in waiting for phone. tried the drivers but they stall at full install and dont go further on computer. cycled as media and camera and cycled usb debugging toggle. still no. any ideas.?

Computer reboot fixed issue. dont know why i didnt think about that...
I just rooted my i9195 works great, and Knox still 0x0.
It hung when trying to disable knox but I restarted the phone while the program was running and it worked when it rebooted.

Just tested with my I9195L from Ancel, Uruguay and works perfect.

Sorry I've been MIA on this for a while, life has had me busy!
It looks like this works for any of the builds up to MK* beyond that (MJ* +) it's hit and miss depending on what the manufacturer or carrier has patched. Basically if it says "device not supported" when you run it then your phone is patched and this method won't work for you.

Samsung has an update. If you like your phone rooted with this method don't do it. Once updated the method won't work.
This worked perfectly on my GT-I9195 MJ7! Knox still 0x0. time to debloat :laugh: :laugh:

The Knox flag only gets tripped if changes are made in the kernel, bootloader or recovery. This doesn't touch any of those so you're safe from tripping Knox.
